This was a return visit after 7 years. Would I have chosen this as a return - well not exactly but we got such a great on line deal with a free child's place - I snapped it up. The hotel is in need of a makeover, it's old and tired and with only 2 lifts for the whole hotel that has a maximum of 4 people.....that makes for fun when people have suit cases or when you are on the 5th floor like we were. So many areas need updating - if it could get a good upgrade, it would be amazing. Though - I would stress that it's not the most accessible hotel. Lots of walking as the hotel is on a hill and hardly any ramps so not pram or wheelchair friendly. Room was sufficient - had a damp smell when we arrived. All very clean but the bathroom was so dated. The flush looked like some super glue had been used to keep it in place. TV signal was intermittent as was the wi fi in the room. Not that we wanted to spend all our time in the room or on the phone but quite frustrating for work emails. Food - didn't have the variety as some hotels but lots to choose from. Food all so fresh and enough to keep everyone happy. If you don't want to go to the restaurant for lunch - the cafe at the beach does a sufficient light lunch with pork skewers, pitta, chips, salads, fruit and other bits. There's ice cream, croissants and pancakes and sandwiches in the afternoon so my 9 year old was happy. Staff generally are lovely - the cleaners were so sweet as were other restaurant staff. Some bar staff couldn't smile if you paid them and Seva seemed to choose who she would be nice to and who she would just glare at. The beach is extremely pebbly - stones galore but you can buy some beach shoes at the local shop. The sea is gorgeous - we spent alot of time just enjoying it. Bliss. Also lots of fish swimming around - great fun to watch them feed on bread. Not quite piranha but Lordy - they would leap out the water for a gob full of bread and you did get the odd nibble on your leg. Sun beds - hit and miss. Husband is an early riser so would go down early and have a swim and snooze. I never saw any free sun beds by the pool - pool is quite small so wasn't that bothered. Entertainment.....well, here's the thing, the animation team work so hard during the day and evening so I won't bash them. The mini disco is sufficient and the kids enjoy it but they play the same songs every day, I know how many mini disco songs there are so a bit of variety would be much better. The animation team's in house entertainment was all a bit cringe alas, quizzes and relying on audience participation. So if you are expecting west end standard - er nope. They did work hard to get everyone dancing at the end of the night and folk seemed to enjoy that. Some of the outside acts were great and we enjoyed those. There is a play area which Husband described as something out of Hostel and wouldn't pass any health and safety inspections so we gave that a miss. But - despite the negatives, we are the sort to have a great time regardless. There was plenty to eat and drink, we enjoyed the sunshine and swam in the sea and we met some great people. There's nowhere nearby to stroll to but we were just happy to chill. The close proximity to the airport meant that we got to the hotel for lunch time and got to enjoy it all straightaway. So if there is a good deal going and you just want to chill, swim and have a drink or 2 and let the kiddies enjoy the sea and ice cream - perfect. If you are looking for golden sandy beaches, 5 star rooms and surroundings, want to walk to amenities, eat seafood everyday, watch incredible entertainment and drink premium vono - this isn't for you.

Hotel was quite adequate for our 2 week stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Entertainment run by Elvis was very good energetic and fun. Food was basic but well cooked and presented. Rooms basic but adequate, cleaning materials left furniture sticky ?

Stayed there 15th to 22nd June, and enjoyed every minute. The staff are all friendly and helpful and the hotel is really clean. The food was excellent and plentiful, something for most peoples tastes. The hotel is a bit out of the way but corfu center and other small towns easy to reach by taxi and public transport, although the bus service was a bit hit and miss on turning up !! The entertainment was okay and the staff round the pool area getting people involved was good. I will definitely go back and if you are considering booking up here I would say do it, you will not be disappointed.

First off you can't fault the value for money at this hotel, we paid £750PP for a week including flights in June and it was far better than we were expecting. First off you can't fault the value for money at this hotel, we paid £750PP for a week including flights in June and it was far better than we were expecting. Rooms a little outdated but clean and comfortable. Hotel staff mostly great, bar and reception staff friendly enough but a special mention to holiday reps Elvis and Gabrielle who were particularly good fun and engaging, made the evenings quite entertaining especially with their dance moves. This made up for the beach boy who was unable to assist us in finding sunbeds as the ones kept aside and not laid out were only to replace broken ones??? This makes no sense considering they rarely had enough to satisfy the number of people looking for them. The hotel has signs everywhere asking people not to reserve beds with personal effects, however this is widely ignored by most and not enforced by the staff which can become frustrating if your not an early riser. This aside the beach atmosphere was great, very picturesque and bar supplying food and drinks available within easy reach. The food itself did lack imagination, while the cold offerings where good and salads in particular were nice, we found most of the hot dishes which required some flavour being added (Seasonings etc) severely lacked flavour. Most of the pasta dishes were a little overcooked and vegetables were often boiled to within an inch of of disintegration. Perhaps something cooked fresh on request at the grill each evening might create a more exciting mealtime. Because of this we did decide to eat out a few times, the taverna a stones throw away was a nice option. However at 750PP per week including flights, the overall selection was good and it was what we expected. Overall a good experience, we enjoyed our stay.
