This is a real family run Greek hotel, the family are beautiful and the staff so friendly. The rooms are lovely, nice balcony, modern bathroom, with shower cubicle, aircon (free) safety deposit box. We stayed for 12 nights, our beds were changed 3 times and clean towels every other day, fabulous pillows and comfy beds. There are no kettles, but I always bring my own, so no problem to us. The snack bar by the pool has great food the pool is shallow and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good. There was a BBQ and Greek dancing, unfortunately we didn't make it, but we heard good reports, there is music also a few evenings a week. We came to Dassia around 20 years ago, and it has changed, as previously stated, on first impressions it is run down, but the tavernas were fabulous, the locals lovely, it's very unfortunate that a massive concrete hotel has taken some of the sea front, so very sad. We live in a small town, so were very impressed with the buses, you just had to choose your times, then maybe less buy. To be honest we loved the family and the hotel, very sad to go home indeed. To the lovely lady on reception (so sorry I'm terrible with names) the Limoncello survived the flight home🥂Yiamas thank you for keeping the red wine at room temperature 🍷at the bar and to Pappa we will return and I'll practice my Greek. Lovely, family run, friendly hotel. Spotlessly clean, daily maid service. Tourist tax 3 Euros daily per room. Free WiFi available. Euros 10 for safe hire, but refundable. Rooms are small, lovely pillows but beds a bit firm. Good, quiet air conditioning and a fridge. No tea/coffee facility, but available at the bar. No British TV channels. Bathroom is adequate, shower a bit dated. Plenty of hot water. We stayed in room 167, lovely garden terrace, but overlooked from the path. A net or screen is needed for privacy and mosquitoes. The mosquitoes were awful, we were badly bitten, even with repellent. Breakfasts in a light,airy room, or outside on a terrace, are fine, plenty of choice and constantly refilled. Limited hot options. Dassia is a bit run down and not much to do apart from sunbathe. Buses run regularly from outside the hotel to Corfu old town and Ipsos. Corfu old town is well worth a visit, plenty to see. Ipsos is a lovely beach, bars and small marina. Try to buy tickets from a kiosk or machine. You can pay on the bus, but more expensive. Euros 2-50 to Old Town, but 1-60 from kiosk. The buses can be very crowded. Overall we had a lovely stay in a pleasant hotel. Thank you.

I’ll start with the bad. The room was quite small and didn’t have enough furniture so you can’t really unpack and do have to live out of your suitcase, which isn’t an issue for everyone but caused issues getting ready. The beds were absolutely rock solid. They weren’t horrifically uncomfortable though but we did wake up with some aches most days. The pillows are equally strangely solid. The bathroom definitely needed some TLC - the plating was gone on the taps so you could see copper, which is just an aesthetic thing. The shower cubicle also need replacing as it was quite stained, but the water pressure was pretty good. Unfortunately despite asking at the front desk for the glasses in our room to be changed they weren’t throughout our entire stay, despite us moving them around the room so the cleaners could see they had been used. The breakfast is the weakest spot of the whole experience. Cheap ham and cheese, some bread options, the fruit was simply watermelon or apple, and then basic cereal and milk. Now onto the good stuff! The pool was magnificent. It gets sun all day and was always clean and a nice temperature to cool off in. The bar had a really good variety of drinks and the food was fairly decent and priced well, though I’d avoid the pizza. All the staff were always happy to help in any way they could. We had a small issue in our room with an insect nest (not the hotels fault, I think due to previous guests leaving the door open a lot) and it was immediately resolved and came with heartfelt apologies. The air conditioning worked very well and the wifi was definitely usable. They hold events a few times a week which were fantastic. The rooms have a quick clean down every day though as noted before a little extra attention to detail wouldn’t go amiss, but having a bathroom that you know has been wiped down and the floor mopped was wonderful, as Corfu is quite dusty! I would actually stay at this hotel again, despite the issues I listed I expected it to be a little rough around the edges with the price. It’s a lovely family run business with excellent staff and located well for a getaway where you can adventure around the area. It has a lot of charm and a lot can be forgiven when you are treated well and the staff go out of their way to help. The closest beach is very very small and rocky so be careful of that, but there’s a sandier beach about 25 minute walk away. The bus that runs between Corfu town and Ipsos stops just outside the hotel and is a great and cheap way to explore a little more of the area.

recently visited Primavera with friends. Nice little hotel, although a little dated and definitely no more than 3*. Immaculately clean rooms, cleaned every day with clean towels every other day pool lovely and warm some days but be warned they empty and refill the pool once a week and it is freezing the next day and a few days later! absolutely no problem getting a sun bed around the pool but the beds are very old. I take 2 beach towels each to make sure they are covered! pool bar has nice snack food although a little expensive for a pool bar, mythos 6€ a pint which gets a bit pricey every day. snacks were nice. Staff were lovely and friendly. no need to ask for anything extra as everything was sorted but friendly when meeting in the bar, around the hotel bbq night was a bit disappointing, wouldn’t recommend the food for 20€ each dassia is quite disappointing, run down probably due to the large AI hotel on the beach. we did find a variety of bars and restaurants just on the right. Akons Farm our favourite, La Casa nice too! Alexander’s was worth a visit. there are a few bars along both sides!maka tak (?) just on the right by the fruit stall was nice and friendly and bottled mythos! also across the road was a few bars, Family Inn, Alex’s Garden and the woodpecker all worth a visit. nice little walk along each night. great boat trip by booked on the strip. Around to some bays and lunch on the beach. lovely clean boat and crew fabulous. just perfect length of time with good food All in all a lovely little week a way but probably would not return to Dassia due to run down strip. such a shame, mosquitoes were the worst I have experienced!
