“Decent hotel/resort but the photos make it look nicer than it is.”

The resort was nice, but I wouldn’t say it lives up to its advertised rating. I’d personally rate it as a good three-star or, maybe, a marginal four-star. One of the main issues was the seating throughout the hotel—there wasn’t a comfortable spot to be found. The furniture had a distinct 1970s canteen feel to it, and even the loungers by the pool were uncomfortable. On rainy days, the only place where you could get comfortable was on your bed! The rooms themselves were decent, with good air conditioning and a nice shower, though the shower drainage was poor, causing the bathroom to flood if the shower was used for too long. We booked a double room but were given a twin with the beds pushed together – not uncommon but irritating. I found the beds quite comfortable. Our room was supposed to have a garden view, but instead, we faced the pool. That was fine, but based on walking around the hotel, I have to wonder where the garden actually was. The pool area was again just OK. Lots of the parasols were fixed in place, which rendered them useless for giving any shade (especially at this time of year when the sun is quite low). The decking was hazardous in some spots, with unsupported, bendy planks, gaps, and raised screws – make sure you always wear sandals. The pool toilets also left much to be desired—they were in pretty poor condition. It was a shame that there were no waiting staff for the pool area. It would not cost a lot and would have enhanced the experience. On a more positive note, the food was very good, though the selection was a little limited and the desserts were a bit uninspiring, but that wasn’t a big deal. The staff were also excellent—friendly and attentive, which made a real difference. The all-inclusive drinks were also reasonably good, offering a nice variety. One drawback was the location, especially for families. The best part of the beach was reserved for a different resort, leaving us with a very narrow, rocky section to use. On the bright side, there was easy access to Corfu Town by bus at a very reasonable cost. All in all, it’s a pleasant enough place, but it’s not the luxury resort it claims to be.

We came here for a week. When we arrived we couldn't believe how beautiful the hotel was and also the scenery. Lovely staff at reception who also left some cold food in our room due to arriving late. Bartenders and other staff friendly too. I personally found the food lovely and lots of choice. The only problem I found was that the rest of my family struggled to eat especially my daughter who is gluten free. Not much options and staff seem confused when asked about gluten free. They also said chips were gluten free and then told us they wernt once she had already eaten a few. However, they were happy to go in the kitchen to make gluten free chips and pasta but this is all she had all week. They also thought she couldn't have milk when I said gluten free. I think labelling foods that are out with ingrediants would be a great idea and own section for allergies so easier all around as language barrier didn't help and restaurant staff seemed confused when asked. Not much to do around the area but car hire good option. Entertainment was good, always smile on their faces. I would recommend more entertainment for kids and earlier as didn't start in the evening until 21.30. We would come here again if food situation improved. Overall, we loved our stay, kids loved the pool and we was sad to leave.
