This is the third time my wife and I have stayed at the Elea Beach and we will come again! The welcome is very good, the staff overall are great (thank you Georgia and Magda) and the rooms are of a good standard, well maintained and serviced by the cleaning staff. The hotel is set back from the main road passing through Dassia so in a quiet spot and is right on the beach. The food is of a high standard and very varied, a good mix of Mediterranean and European. A special thanks to the lady who does the eggs at breakfast - always ready to please ! Πολλά ευχαριστώ! And another to the lady who provides a relaxing and curative reflexology service, much appreciated by my wife`s back! John (and Florence) McInally

3 star Hotel not 4 Pros- Entertainment was fun and varied. Simo was great!! Sea aerobics every day so much fun!! Sea view room had a lovely view, road side view i really wouldnt bother with even if its cheaper. Room was big enough for 3 of us but not huge. Cleaners work hard keeping the pool areas clean and changed towels/ sheets/emptied bins daily. We were all inclusive, breakfast was our favourite and the only meal my girls really enjoyed. The lady chef was lovely and made fresh Pancakes and eggs. Generally sunbeds available as lots of people go to the beach. (Small short stone beach sea was lovely). Reception nice and helpful. Outside pool bar staff really funny, happy and work very hard. Cons- Entertainment during the day was cancelled as a large greek family were asleep? They then took over the hotel which ruined the atmosphere for everyone else. They kept everyone up until 3am having a party a few nights. Not impressed with that! Hotel obviously preferred Greek guests. Generally guests have zero consideration for anyone trying to sleep past midnight, kids shouting, doors slamming etc. Lots of people hanging around the pool outside even though the bar had closed. We changed rooms due to the noise at night because travelling with kids we werent staying up until 2/3am, it wasn't any better in a different room. I saw the pools get cleaned once and the rooms/hotel are not 4 star, 3 star but ok. Some things don't seem to work or we're broken, a cable for a fan in the bathroom came off in my hand, a man came to look at it and just said broken. The bathrooms gave off an awful sewer smell which was worse in the mornings, I think this is a Corfu issue as when we walked around Dassia you could smell sewers everywhere. The floors in the rooms didn't seem very clean. Food was OK, could be better. varied enough for me although wasnt much I liked one night unless I had salad. I don't think they cater well for children at all eseocially for all inclusive. No lollies or ice creams available for all inclusive only in bowls. I wish I just went B&B as there are shops and other restaurants very close. Pool bar had little food available some crisps, bit of old pizza, not much at all. The hotel got very busy towards the end of July and people starting reserving sunbeds really early when the pool doesn't open 9am. I probably wouldn't go back as ive been to much better All incusive hotels for the price. Overall it was a nice holiday, and good weather with a nice location right on the beach, the kids said they would go back if we could visit other restaurants.

Just returned from a 4 day vacation. This is my opinion , I have included quotes from other guests as well. First the good points. We were upgraded ( thankyou ) to a superior triple sea view with large bed and a single bed,an enormous furnished balcony the view was fabulous . Good shower , usual toiletries. Decent towels , changed every day, bedding changed once👍 . There was a kettle and tea and coffee but no cups or spoon 🤔. Our cleaner did a decent job. General cleanliness in and around the hotel was spotless. Well done to the cleaners. Found the sunloungers quite comfy round the pool. Reception staff pleasant and very helpful. Hotel is well placed for leisurely strolls. 2 super friendly dogs🥰, and I dont especially like dogs . Bad points. We were AI and felt like second class. Noise in the corridor and from room next door horrendous, paper thin walls.Must be really bad in summer when hotel is full .Other guests said the same about their room. Not especially the hotel staffs fault. Used the pool bar for lunch on ONE occasion, chips/crisps included on the "seperate menu" for all inclusive, oh no, no chips/crisps left but if we were to pay hmmmmmmm. Waiter who made the toastie didnt wash his hands or wear disposable gloves . Noticed hygiene was lacking in some areas in the restaurant also. Basic hygiene. Food selection was poor, (choice had apparantly got less and less --words from guests who had been there for quite a few days prior ),and was often cold. I suppose we went late , 8PM........ No atmosphere at all, at times just maybe 8 of us in .Felt like I was being watched all the time by the older guy in the restaurant, who was quite rude to a guest who was showing me how to use the coffee machine😡,I resorted to coffee as the orange juice was vile.. Breakfast was the best until the one and only toaster disappeared . Back to hygiene, we were informed by a few guests of a virus going round the hotel. Indeed a receptionist admitted it. We used our own sanitisers and also a disinfectant spray given to us by departing guests. Unfortunatly my husband still became ill, virus or bad food , who knows . Bar and restaurant staff miserable, we put it down to end of season and them being tired 😴 Beach wasnt really our thing, nice to hear the waves but sunbeds too tight and uncomfortable. Spoke to a family who remarked about the lack of a toilet near the beach, they had 3 children. Apparently the nearest toilets are in reception , unaccesable if you are wet . We had a decent time at the hotel, enjoyed relaxing by the pool, even managed to get in a few times, going for strolls along the seafront promanade and inland . The view from our room was the high point ,as I said it was fabulous even on an evening seeing all the lights along the coast all the way to Corfu town. Hopefully 2025 season will be succesful for the hotel as it certainly has potential to be very good. Best wishes.

The location of this hotel is great if you want to be on the beach, sea very clear with fish swimming around you. Watersports available for an extra cost very close to the hotel. The pools are clean but no warmer than the sea. No outside toilet or changing room other than a very small wooden hut. The hotel and rooms are clean and staff are still polite, friendly and eager to please. The love holidays description said the hotel has entertainment every night, however for the 6 evenings we were there there was only three evenings of entertainment plus bingo which was only available if you were willing to pay. The 'all inclusive package'... The food was generally good, especially breakfast with a choice of fresh fruit, continental foods ie meats, cheese, croissant omelettes, local sausages etc. The coffee was a Nespresso machine with all options including decaf. Lunch and dinner were very similar with a choice of hot foods or salads and lots of greek style desserts. The option to eat outside on the terrace by the pool was an added bonus. Between meal times there was very limited availability of food options including small pieces off pizza, toast, crisps, toasted sandwich and ice cream. And now for the all inclusive drinks options ..... very disappointing! The wine tasted like it was of poor quality, white, rosè and red options in a small wine glass (I chose to go to the local supermarket and buy my own wine). Bottles were available to all inclusive customers but this was not advertised. One 'beer' option of a lager/pale ale combination available. A small selection of local spirits and cocktails also made with local spirits and syrup based soft drinks. All other drinks had to be paid for other than bottled water. There was often a strong smell of sewage in the hotel bathroom and also outside generally in Dassia. This was not pleasant but clearly an issue the island has. Would we return? Probably not with the all inclusive option but bed and breakfast possibly, but not in October as it is the end of season.
