Exceptional Hospitality at Grecotel Corfu Imperial Hotel Experience Corfu Greco Hotel Imperial is a stunningly beautiful 5 star resort, which we visited in October 2024. The rooms were wonderful with some of the best hotel beds we have ever slept in. Every view from the windows was breathtaking and unspoilt. Breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful varied and thoughtful. The food catered to everyone's individual needs and was delicious. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was perfect and gardens were beautifully maintained and thought about. Support for Neurodiverse Guests Most importantly for us, the hotel staff worked extremely hard to accommodate the needs of my autistic teenager. Without the level of genuine care and concern for my child's” safe food” needs, we would not have been able to enjoy our holiday, but all the staff we spoke to made enormous effort to source specific chips from across the island! ( Which took hours of additional work for them). Team members involved included , Chrysta (maitre d'), Petros (restaurant manager), and George (chef), Eirni (restaurant hostess). James from the fantastic Snorkel boat trip (Amphitrite Diving) and Paniyiotta also provided exceptional support for helping my child access and enjoy water sport activities. Overall Impression We wanted to say thank you, to the whole team who provided a special level of customer service with genuine kindness. As a family we felt pampered, cared for and part of the Greco Hotel family. We plan to return to the hotel in the future, and are looking forward to exploring other Grecotels too

After a tough year we were looking for somewhere that we could completely switch off and enjoy some peace and tranquility. And The Imperial certainly delivered. I've experienced other Grecotel Hotels on Corfu and this is their premium hotel and it really shows. The setting is simply stunning on the peninsula with two lovely sandy beaches and stunning views. So the hotel itself, the staff are wonderful. I don't recall ever passing a staff member without a cheerful hello and a smile, every detail was attended to. If I had to pick one thing about the hotel that was the best it would be the people that work there. The atmosphere of the hotel is very calm and peaceful and there are so many areas around the hotel and grounds where you can sit in solitude and read a book. It's a just a beautiful place to walk around both inside and outside Of course, one of the key elements of a holiday is the food and we were on the half board dining plan which I highly recommend. The buffer dinner is excellent and really high quality with choices for everyone. The service is of course impeccable with food constantly topped up and dishes cleared away. The all important breakfast is also excellent and the Mon Repos restaurant never felt overly crowded. Our room was a bungalow with its own pool (a lovely upgrade) and this was kept immaculately, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the bathroom sports one of the best showers I've ever used. Rooms have a Nespresso machine which, as a big coffee drinker I really appreciated. So any negatives, well I am nit-picking really but as I was staying in the last week of the season, some minor facilities were withdrawn whilst I was there. We noticed the usual jugs of strawberry water left around the hotel suddenly stopped appearing for example. Other things were noticed such as nobody manning the ice cream shop when we wanted one and I felt the hotel should not show evidence to its guests that it was winding down even on the last day. Also, maybe because it was the last week of the season there did not seem to be much on in the way of evening entertainment. The cinema on the peninsula was not in action and I expected similar to what we experienced at the Daphnila the year before with Jazz bands etc. They had individuals playing music in the bar (DJ) but it did not attract any great number of people so felt completely flat. Overall though, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. I whole-heartedly recommend The Imperial Top Tips: You are free to use the facilities at the other Grecotel hotels and we enjoyed walking to the Eva Palace and using their pool which tended to be quieter. You can also walk to the Daphnila if you go via the beach. There is also a nice walk down to a little church if you follow the road out of the hotel. As you would expect the drinks are not cheap, but the hotel has a mini-supermarket where you can buy beer for around 1.90E and wine from 7E. This really helps as local supermarkets are not really walkable If you are on the dine-plan you can have two restaurant meals. You absolutely must use one of these for the Danilia Village Dining Experience. It was incredible. October is good time to go if you want to avoid really hot weather. During our stay it was a steady 24c with no rain and a little chill (but refreshing) at night. There is a free transfer both day and night to Old Corfu Town. It's worth going once in the day and once and night but check when the cruise ships are in.

Our third visit and looking to book for next year… The service, staff and overall atmosphere of the resort is incredible. The villa was spotless and food was superb. There is no such thing as a problem. In particular our concierge, Joanna was first class from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Boat trips, spa visit and of course the late check out so to help on the airport run. Dimitria and George, were joined by others this year, who looked after us in the restaurant and all were exemplary in effort and helpfulness. Finally George ‘the crisp’ man who delivered drinks and crisps in the evening, not only took care of my wife and I, but also the kids. For a family holiday, this is an incredible place. Thank you to the whole team.

The breakfast and dinner were nice, but I think it would be fantastic if they could add a bit more variety. After an extended stay, we found ourselves craving something new. The cinema experience they offer is definitely a highlight! Overall, it was a great experience, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone!

Nothing much to fault about the hotel. The grounds are beautiful, staff helpful and friendly, and the restaurants are generally great. The only and biggest downside is the Mon Repos restaurant where breakfast and the buffet dinner is served. Unlike the rest of the hotel and its facilities, it felt hectic and more like a busy cantina due to it being one large room. Children were running around and I even saw some sticking their fingers in the food….not exactly appetising. Overall not a great way to start the day and seeing as there are no alternatives for breakfast at the hotel (other than room service), it put a bit of a damper to the start of the day. Despite all this, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.
