Very nice hotel apartment just off the main road, under a 15 minute drive from the Hotel. Transport I recommend using an Uber driver via the app to get to the hotel instead of a normal cab service. We used a normal cab and were charged 50 Euros for a 13 minute drive at night. The only reason we never used Uber coming into Nice is that our phone batteries had died, when we were leaving we booked and Uber which cost us around 27 euros- go figure! Hotel& Surroundings The Hotel was great, there is always someone on the front desk/back office who is willing to assist with queries. The room was clean with a nice little kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, sink. The fridge also has a freezer compartment to store frozen food. On either side of the bed are wall sockets to plug your electrical goods although it would have been better if they had multi socket adapter so you can plug more than one device. The highlight for us was the rooftop swimming pool, it is beautiful and very clean and has sun loungers surrounding it. From the swimming pool rooftop area you can also see stunning views of Nice! The hotel is about 7 minutes from the nearest supermarket Intermarche- prices here are fantastic and the food selection is great with fresh produce as well. There is a larger supermarket called Casino about 25mins walk away that sells electric goods as well as food and kitchen utensils although I think Intermache supermarket is sufficient enough. There is also two cafes and an oriental resturant located 5 mins from the hotel walking distance. The distance to the beach is about 8-10 mins.

“Difficult to rate ”

We booked this as our flight was on a Sunday and we'd checked out of our weeks stay further down the coast on the Saturday. We booked this as our flight was on a Sunday and we'd checked out of our weeks stay further down the coast on the Saturday. If I'm honest had I looked further into it I may have booked somewhere more expensive but our choice as a family of 5 was limited to a hotel 3 x more expensive so we went with it. The setting and area aren't the best and I definitely wouldn't have wanted to stay more than one night. The reception staff were curt but told us we couldn't check in before the stated time but could use the pool. By the time we'd walked to the beach for a lunch it was time to check in anyway. Check in was easy and the room was - ok? A double room plus enough room in the lounge for the children. One bathroom which did smell a little and the shower was broken but to be honest better than I expected given the entrance driving past a car yard and another manufacturing plant with metal ducting in the yard. The children used the pool and loved it. There is a lovely sea view and this was a bonus. I am glad we only used it as a base. Small things like keeping the vending machine full of water and maybe having a small snack bar on site would have really helped. Good point was plenty of parking! And we all got a good nights sleep. We wouldn't stay again but was good for a (desperate) stopover!
