We arrived earlier than expected and asked if we could leave our luggage and without hesitation they took it from us and we found it in our room when we checked in. Reception and staff were so very welcoming and escorted us to our room which had a little outside space with a table and 2 chairs and a drier for clothes or swimsuits. The room was spotlessly clean and large. The bathroom was also lovely with a strong shower head. Breakfast was very varied and the cakes were different each day. Supplies were topped up immediately so there was never an empty plate. It was nice to have the choice of taking breakfast indoors or outdoors. Parking in front of ones room was also a great thing, luggage from the boot straight to your room. Security with a coded gate gave one reassurance too. The pool was clean and had easy access from all rooms. We will definitely be going back as it was such a lovely stay - so much to do all within easy reach of the hotel. Riding can be booked through the hotel (highly recommended) bikes for hire endless restaurants and lovely walks near the beach. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful Beatrice.

“Very pleasant hotel”

We stayed for 2 nights. Nice clean room, charming & friendly Owner. The menu & wine list are limited but very nice nonetheless. We enjoyed dinners on the terrace around the pool. Good location; close to Saintes Maries de la Mer and the Ornithological reserve at Pont de Gau.

Very nice small hotel just outside Sainte-Maries sur Mer. Easy parking and pleasant rooms and decor. Very personal and good service. Limited menu service in rooms or on balcony. Overall a good experience. Recommended.

“Sojourn in Saintes Marie.”

All rooms are clustered in a semi circle round a natural pond. Ours enjoyed a pleasant aspect , sitting on the terrace we were entertained by a family of water hens. The swimming pool was delightful which is more than can be said for the general maintenance of the hotel. It looked tired and unloved… more

All rooms are clustered in a semi circle round a natural pond. Ours enjoyed a pleasant aspect , sitting on the terrace we were entertained by a family of water hens. The swimming pool was delightful which is more than can be said for the general maintenance of the hotel. It looked tired and unloved. For instance, the bathroom fan ran continuously, the shower was dangerous, one minute cool and the next scalding. Cleaning was haphazard and bedroom door was difficult to close. All minor items in themselves but added to a ramshackle appearance.
