The hotel staff is really put this over the edge for us! Extremely accommodating from Concierge's Youri, Sarah, Tsanta, & Bar Tender, Adrien. They were always friendly and eager to assist with with dinner reservations, recommendations for sightseeing, etc. One evening we missed out on reservations to the restaurant, because we were having too much fun enjoying the hotel thelasso pool facilities in the hotel and just wanted some of the restaurant's amazing fish soup. They were so accommodating to us by serving it in the hotel bar! The ocean View is beautiful and I really like the smell of this hotel.

The Hotel Royal Barriere in La Baule is a reminder of what excellence can be in a hotel experience, transforming it into a source of refreshing pleasure and relaxation. Quality is everywhere ,starting from individual staff members in all functions who call you by your name and who go out of their way to provide you with the best in service and provide ideas for activities even before you ask for it, The most exquisite but still relaxing decor of the rooms and quiet common areas reflect the utmost in refined taste. From breakfast to dinner, and at the very enjoyable bar directed with brio and style by Christophe, the restaurant choices in both food and wines were astonishing as was the service. (The Fouquet’s restaurant in the hotel should not be missed) And of course one of the highlights is the location, just across from the beach and a spectacular view of it as well as the hotel’s lush garden and gorgeous outdoor pool. This is in addition to the indoor pool, and thallasso facilities. Le Royal is a hotel that has everything in a seaside , green, and equestrian environment in La Baule which makes you feel more relaxed every day. It’s a wonderful choice of which Barriere hotels can be very proud

“Best service ! ”

Amazing hotel by the beach . The rooms are high standards. Best service ! A 5 star that will not deceive you . The international golf course is 15 mins away. Excellent Michelin star restaurant . Will definitely come back

We ended up with nice bedroom accommodation and sleep quality was very good. Front office staff and the concierge/bell team were friendly and helpful. We ended up with nice bedroom accommodation and sleep quality was very good. Front office staff and the concierge/bell team were friendly and helpful. But the breakfast arrangements were mediocre Major issues arose in connection with the spa. Misinformation resulted in one of us missing aqua classes . And, despite drawing attention to the Hammam that would barely have warmed an Eskimo, nothing was going to be done about this as it was too hard to locate the engineer, or maybe to lift a finger to turn up the temperature.
