We stayed for one night in Le Havre. The reception when we arrived was very kind. The people who worked there spoke some English, which made it easier for us Canadians. The casino was nice even though we didn't win. We had an amazing supper, which was surprisingly filling. Our waiter was top notch. The spa was beautiful and calming. Loved that it had the hot tub, a sauna, a steam room and a pool. The room was large and I enjoyed the fact the toilet was seperate from the bath tub and washing area. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Also, the views from the hotel were beautiful and the location to walk around and see the sights was perfect!

LOCATION: Looking out over the water of Le Havre's Bassin, Hotel Pasino is well placed for exploring city on foot. Many of the historic sights of Le Havre plus engaging displays of street art are at almost every turn only minutes away across the footbridge opposite. St Joseph's monumental modern stained glass church tower is just down the street along with the Volcan, known locally as the < pot de yaourt > (yoghurt pot) theatre complex. A bit further away is the beach which although more pebbles than sand looked glorious as the late afternoon sun hovered low in the sky on Bastille Day. VIEW: I booked a Superior Privilege room looking out over Le Havre's Bassin and it was money well-spent for the view that was both interesting and relaxing. At night, the bridge over the Bassin was illuminated, with the sunflower yellow and turquoise of Ukraine's flag alternating on Bastille Day with France's tricolore of blue, white and red. The effects looked magnificent reflected in the water. ROOM: A vestibule along which was a luggage rack and plenty of wardrobe space led to the well-appointed room with subtly luxurious finshes. Big bathroom, good shower, vanity with plenty of room for toiletries and a completely separate loo. SERVICE: Welcoming and helpful throughout. BREAKFAST: Julie, a quietly engaging, ever-smiling young woman who oversaw the beautifully-presented buffet most mornings made not only my day, but my stay, as she helped me with my fractured French (and I reciprocated by adding to her English).

Great location right in the heart of Le Harve with limited off street parking. The room was spacious & even thought the hotel appeared to be dated the rooms must have been refurbished at some stage. The pool / spa area was a welcome addition. We didn't eat at the hotel at all so I can't comment on those amenities. It's also a casino which made the reception appear just a little seedy but this is only a small issue.

We had a large bedroom with 6' bed with a rear view of fountains and gardens. It had exceedingly poor lighting and very weedy wi-fi. Our bathroom was large and weel appointed, individual toiletries. Good breadfast including cooked.

“The hotel is nice.”
We had a double suite. Nice suite, but the cooling of the room is very poor. Extreme heat in the room that make a night sleep almost impossible. Breakfast is poor. Hotel and the restaurant is very good. But maybe when you put all together not a 4 star European hotel.
