This is a very basic budget hotel and the room is quite small. I stayed two nights in January so the price was exceptionally low. Room had a chair, small desk, full bed, two small pillows, a TV, hooks and rack for clothes and a tiny prefab bathroom, as is the case with out locations. The shower is very hard to maneuver in and only hand soap is provided in a container. Wifi worked fine. There's no AC. Heat was OK. Water was hot. Staff was friendly. It was about two miles from the beach and a little over a mile from the city center and train station so the location isn't great but it's safe. There are several gas stations and grocery stores nearby but dining options are limited. Clientele seemed OK and the grounds were clean. For the price or a comparable one, relative to the time of year, I'd definitely stay again.

You know what to expect at a Premiere Classe hotel. You get a small room with its own bathroom (well shower + toilet), situated normally close to a main road/autoroute and more often than not other outlets such as Buffalo Grill Located in Touques (literally just outside Deauville) the hotel is situated near a Buffalo Grill and Carrefour Supermarket, oh and right next door is a McDonalds! So there is plenty of food options for the non-adventurous traveller (or kids!). The room is small, and I mean small! But it's enough to sleep and refresh in. Theres no question that you would spend a week here and spend much time in the room outside of sleeping or showering, so you can't complain! I used it as a base of operations for visiting the WW2 installations in Normandy and the ville of Touville/Deauville! In hindsight it was over 100 mins drive to get to Omaha Beach, so in hindsight I would not recommend this location if you are just interested in WW2 sites. The room was clean with 3 clean towels, ok when I say towels I mean they fit somewhere between a flannel and tea towel for size! So don't expect a huge luxurious bath sheet as you will be in for a surprise. Room has a LCD TV including Canal+ for you to watch and wonder what they are saying ;-) Bed is really comfortable given the cost per night. I paid £78 for two nights (3 sleeping in the room), so excellent value for money. Complaints and observations: toilet paper is individual sheets and was perilously low when we arrived and depleted by end of the first night. The cleaning staff did not replenish this during the stay, so luckily we had brought 4 rolls of our own. The other thing is the red "duvet" which is on the bed. It has a white sheet underneath it and I wonder how often it is actually cleaned? During the 3 days we were there I never saw a single room being cleaned have the red cover changed! Lots of whites pressed sheets and towels outside with the cleaners, not a single red cover in sight! I dread to think what has and hasn't been on the red cover, so for me it came nowhere near where I was sleeping! Surviving on the white single sheet on its own, making for a very chilly morning when awoke! One of thing to mention is there is somekind of lorry loading facility within spitting distance, and boy does it make a bloody noise when operational! All said and done, for what the cost was you cant complain! Sure if you get a cheap Premier Inn or Travelodge in the UK for a similar £40 per night would be far superior!
