“Perfect for our first nite in the Cote d'Azur”
Our flight arrived late for our week in the Cote d'Azur, so we decided to stay our first night near the airport. Our flight arrived late for our week in the Cote d'Azur, so we decided to stay our first night near the airport. We called the hotel after retrieving our luggage and the shuttle arrived to pick us up from the nearby bus station in less than 15 minutes. The room was very comfortable and modern and ample space for the 2 of us. The buffet breakfast was really outstanding, including a station where you could fry your own eggs!

“Good airport hotel but poor shuttle service”

Hotel is really well located and although close to the airport it was quiet. The tram stop at Grand Arenas is only 5 mins walk (turn right out of the hotel, right again at the corner and follow the walkway which takes you directly to the tram stop). Nice St. Augustin train station is also close to the tram stop (up the steps) so very convenient for trips all along the coast. The trains are quick and run on time! We had a standard room which was large and very comfortable and clean. Excellent choice of food for breakfast. We had dinner one evening which was also good. Sadly we had a poor experience with the shuttle bus both ways. On arrival we called the hotel and asked where the pickup point was. The member of staff who answered the phone was difficult to understand, we had to spell out all our details and the directions given were very unclear so we were left walking around trying to find it. Not great in unfamiliar surroundings in the dark! Finally found the place which is literally straight ahead out of door A0 at Terminal 1 and there are bays for buses to pull in, though there was nothing marked "Novotel" so it still wasn't obvious. Then no sign of shuttle so called the hotel a second time. Again had to go through spelling out our names etc and was told the bus was coming. It did turn up a few minutes later but the whole process took about half an hour which is crazy as the drive to the hotel is only a few minutes. The shuttles back to the airport are supposed to run every half hour. We were told to wait by reception and they'd let us know when the next one was leaving. They didn't and we had to go and ask again. They then had to call up a driver and get him to come out and take us! It seems that although they advertise a shuttle they don't really want to provide the service! It was annoying but the hotel overall was good, so would stay there again, especially now we know the area.

“Great location for a base to explore , 40 minutes to Cannes , 40 minutes opposite direction to Monaco”
The hotel provide a courtesy shuttle from the airport , you have to call them once you collect your luggage and clear passport control . Rooms are very modern , clean spacious . The hotel provide a courtesy shuttle from the airport , you have to call them once you collect your luggage and clear passport control . Rooms are very modern , clean spacious . Location - 5 minutes drive from terminal 2 , 5 minute walk from nearest rail station which takes you along the riviera very efficiently and it’s cheap . Dining : nothing much around the hotel although the hotel restaurant was very good and quite reasonable for France .

“Convenient Stopover Near the Airport”
We stayed for one night before an early flight, and it was a lovely experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and while the food was ok, the drinks were really good. Plus, it’s conveniently within walking distance to the airport. A pleasant option for a short stopover🛫
