Aparthotel is 15 mins drive from the airport, and only 2 blocks from the beach. In a good central area if you wish to have a basecamp to explore Nice. The listing stated that it was soundproofed, however we could hear all the motorbikes zipping around all times of night, and screaming kids in the corridors which was not the greatest. The apartment itself was small - we were on the fifth floor and you can get the stairs or elevator. The photos make the apartment look a lot bigger! The double bed was two singles pushed together (which is standard in many places), and the bathroom was a little tired looking - mould growing a little, and lights on the blink. They did provide miniature shower gel etc. Frustratingly, with only two of us, even having a shower one after the other, the hot water was running out, which I have never had in any holiday I have been on! The toilet was far too close to the wall - and whilst there are rails for folks that need, there is no space and you have to sort of sit on the side to use the loo! The kitchen area, has a microwave, kettle, dishwasher, hob and fridge (has a small freezer shelf) which is useful and I would advise not paying their fee for breakfast and go to Carrefour down the road to stock up on supplies. We stayed 4 nights, so there is no towel change or housekeeping, and you are expected to keep the area clean (they provide you a new sponge, washing liquid and dishwasher tablet), and not leave a mess (which is reasonable). You also have to empty all the bins and take to the waste disposal on level -1, which I can only assume is normal practice for aparthotels. All being said, the price charged really shows what you get, and if you just need a basecamp it is perfectly fine for that. The staff are really friendly and helpful - you can store your luggage in their locked room before you check in on day of arrival, and prior to check out when you leave to allow you time to explore without lumbering a case around.

“My Visit”

I would say this was a very normal and average experience. I would not recommend. The room is rather small and there is no room service if you stay shorter than 7 days. The breakfast is expensive. The location is very convenient near the beach.

Certainly not any better than 3 stars. Nice location to the beach, 2 blocks, poor location for nice restaurants, area is dirty, not the hotels faults but still not a nice feeling when outside. Big thing- cleanliness, bathroom full of black mold, I don’t know about you but that’s not a good sign,,, chose somewhere else to stay.
