From the moment we checked in to this hotel, we felt welcomed. The reception space was bright and airy and the woman on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. She gave us personal recommendations of things to see and do as well as places to eat and drink. The staff at the front desk greeted us with a smile and a 'bonjour/bonsoir' every time we entered the building. The room itself was clean and spacious, and we really enjoyed having the large balcony to sit on in the mornings and evenings. We had everything we needed in the room and hotel staff were happy to provide anything else we needed (e.g. more milk). The bath had quite high sides so we made sure to be careful when getting in and out! We would not hesitate to stay here again if/when we return to Nice.

“5 stars for hotel staff, room and location.”

First time in a boutique hotel so wasn't sure what to expect but it surpassed all our expectations. First time in a boutique hotel so wasn't sure what to expect but it surpassed all our expectations. Front desk staff Sylvie, Stacy and Akim were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and helped plan our trips. Family room was perfect for me and my adult children, with the single bed being a proper bed rather than a fold-up bed we've had in other hotels. Spacious bathroom with lovely toiletries and had everything we needed. Location is perfect to get to Nice-Ville station for the train to Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Menton was a 10 minute walk on one side and the Promenade a 5 minute walk on the other side. Walk to Old Town between 10-15 minutes walk. On checkout day, our flight wasn't till 7.25pm so we left our bags with them and spent the day on the beach only because they had a shower we could use to freshen up in, with towels supplied, before getting our flight. First time we've experienced this and definitely an unexpected but welcome bonus. Overall, we all agreed we would stay here again if we ever came back to Nice.

To begin with : the staff is par none. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by a lovely and kind Stacy and witty and charming Akim. They greeted us each time we passed the front desk and displayed professionalism and sincerity. The GM is also so pleasant and very helpful. At night, Luis offered calm and attended to questions and asks relevant to our stay. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are not to our liking. It felt like a dorm room. That said, the bed and pillows make for a very comfortable night’s rest. The proximity to the beach is perfect : a 5 minute walk. There is a laundromat very close by for those who need that option. A hundred restaurants await you nearby on Rue de la France- removed from the main thoroughfare: Promenade des Anglais, that is a welcome change. Use the tram and the Gare which are both walking distance to the hotel. I hope the intended renovations beckon us back for another visit as all of the above are reasons to boost this to a 5 star rating pending a room makeover.
