“A very nice hotel in a beautiful location”

Hotel is situated in a fantastic part of Nice a few minutes walk from the beach. Staff were very helpful and the room was pleasant and clean.

Fantastic Location to enjoy all that Nice has to offer. The room we had was small but more than adequate and I'm sure if you wanted to pay more, you could experience their more superior rooms. Ours were facing the back of the hotel so all we had to look at were air conditioners and a flat roof. However, to get a view, pop up to the top floor and go outside to the roof top bar and pool, amazing views. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels delivered, really comfortable. Only one English speaking channel on the TV, which is world news, but you're not here to watch TV, so that wasn't a problem. The staff are amazing, very helpful, spoke good English (much better than our poor school French!). Sarah in the Moon Bar was really lovely and made our stay even better. The Moon Bar isn't cheap, but is a lovely place to spend a few hours chilling out on an evening, or playing cards. Breakfast is very good, hot and cold foods available, Bacon, Sausages, Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes, Boiled Eggs, Cheeses & Meats, amazing Yoghurts, Muesli, Pastries, along with fruit juices and self serve coffee & tea. A very good selection. All in all, a very good place to stay and we will return.

“Why does singles always get the room with the view of the trash bins”

Room was clean, incredibly good bed. At this time of year, with tiles on the floor a pair of slippers would have been highly appreciated. Room was clean, incredibly good bed. At this time of year, with tiles on the floor a pair of slippers would have been highly appreciated. I asked a cleaning lady if I could get a pair but apparently she forgot. Also a bath robe would have been highly appreciated. The body lotion had weird smell. Be patient if you need to blow dry your hair. The blow dryer is very slow. A hair straightener would equally have been very appreciated. Kind and helpful reception staff. Very nice sky bar. Good breakfast. I might be wrong, but the hotel did not seem totally full so why does single women always get the room with the view to the trash bins and/or a wall when travelling alone while often paying a supplement feed for staying alone in a room?

Upon arrival, we were given a very small, outdated room with a rough overall appearance. The walls were so thin that we could hear everything from the neighboring room. It was nothing like what was described during booking. I had to pay an additional €180 to upgrade to another room, which had a nicer view and a better look but was still poorly maintained. The bathroom door in the upgraded room was faulty, and my daughter even got stuck inside at one point! Daily housekeeping was below standard—rooms were not cleaned properly, and tea and coffee were not provided. We had to take them from the breakfast area. Breakfast itself was mediocre at best. For the price of the stay, I expected much more. Don’t expect fresh fruits or bread; the bread was stale, the fruits were canned, and there were very few healthy options. The ham, cheese, and salmon provided were the cheapest quality. On a positive note, the staff members were polite and friendly, and the location was excellent—very central and convenient. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return to this hotel and would recommend others to thoroughly research before booking. Lastly, we felt unwell while staying in the room. We had to keep the windows open and the fan off to feel comfortable. Strangely, we felt much better when outside the hotel, which suggests something in the room wasn’t right.
