“Short stay”
My son is working in the area for a couple of weeks, so my daughter in law myself and my 3 grandsons joined him for a short break. I read the reviews, and was a bit worried! My son is working in the area for a couple of weeks, so my daughter in law myself and my 3 grandsons joined him for a short break. I read the reviews, and was a bit worried! However, we were going to be late, were told reception shut at 7pm and we were still some distance away, a phone call was made and a very helpful receptionist gave instructions, gate code and apt number and assured us we could check in the next morning which we duly did, no problem at all, the only thing was we had to pay local tax which we weren’t aware of. We had a junior suite on the top floor, large lounge kitchen area with bed settee, double bedroom, bunk beds just inside the front door in a corridor which was a bit odd, but no problem, shower over bath and separate toilet. Clean bedding and towels, we asked for more pillows and were given more with no problem. There is an Aldi next door which was handy! Lovely pool area which was cleaned every evening. It is a bit out of the way with no car, but we walked into the town of la Ciotat to the beach a couple of times with no problem, there is a rocky small beach close by if you just want to sit and watch the sea. The weekend was very busy, seems to be popular for weekend get together. Mid week we had the place to ourselves.

“Good value”
The apartment we had was clean, accessible with garden and bathroom to outdoors, and reasonable in price. There were a few small things missing, such as a dish towel and cloth, dish soap, salt and pepper, coffee filtres, etc., and decent toilet tissue, which should be available when apartments/hote… more
The apartment we had was clean, accessible with garden and bathroom to outdoors, and reasonable in price. There were a few small things missing, such as a dish towel and cloth, dish soap, salt and pepper, coffee filtres, etc., and decent toilet tissue, which should be available when apartments/hotels provide long-term spaces with kitchen facilities. Otherwise, the breakfast was okay - a little pricey - the pool was lovely, and the location was perfect to come and go to see the area’s attractions. The staff was quite friendly also.
