We stayed here as a two families with teenage / adult children group of 6. We had two standard rooms and the suite. The suite is a separate building on the edge of the hotel property. It has two bedrooms on the ground floor - a very large double and a small twin sharing a bathroom and a single bed in the hallway. On the first floor there is a very nice sitting room / kitchen with a table and two sofas and a sliding glass window on to the balcony. On the second floor is a lovely outdoor terrace with views out to the sea with a table and chairs and 2 sun loungers. It was great to have our own outdoor space particularly in the evenings and also the sitting area. The hotel is at the top of the hill outside of the village. It sits in quite a large space with its own gardens and the pool area which is lovely. It is a steep walk down to the village and back (15 mins down, 20 mins hard work back) but we found it reasonably easy to get Ubers and we tended to walk down and Uber back. The pool was lovely and is quite big. It doesn't have a shallow end but that was fine for us as a group of adults / older teenagers. There were a lot of sun loungers and umbrellas and we always found space even though it was August. The standard rooms were very nice, quite large and quite charming. They had tiled floors, shutters and air conditioning units and were nice and cool. Most of the hotel staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful but a couple were a little rude!

We stayed at Les Jardin de Cassis in mid August. We had 2 double rooms and the suite which was a separate building at the edge of the hotel. The suite had two bedrooms on the ground floor. A very large double and a small twin room sharing a bathroom. The twin is probably more of a children’s room but our 20 year old boys were fine in it. There is also a single bed in corridor on the ground level. On first floor very pleasant sitting / dining / kitchen with French windows to the balcony and then one the top level a lovely roof terrace with table and chairs and two loungers. The pool was lovely and plenty of loungers so there was always room even in August. As others have said it is a deep pool with no shallow end but was great for us. The village of Cassis is beautiful with great restaurants and we really enjoyed the boat ride and swim visiting the Calanques. As others have said the hotel is 15 min walk down, 20 min walk up steep hill. But we valued the space the hotel had in that its set in gardens a little way away from main village. We also found it easy to get Ubers and so often walked down and got an Uber back up. We really enjoyed it here. I thought it was a charming 3 star hotel. Rooms had tiles floors and shutters so were very cool and were large. Most staff were lovely and helpful but a couple were a little rude!

“Good Hotel away from Port and quiet.”

We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed in a junior suite with 2 rooms. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly at all times. We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We stayed in a junior suite with 2 rooms. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were very friendly at all times. Just to note a couple of things - Air conditioning in second room kept leaking. We did raise and attempts were made to fix it, but it continued to leak. Pool is deep all round No pool towels provided We did not opt for breakfast as €15 p/p seemed steep and there is a bakers just up the road which also does coffee. 20 minute walk uphill from Port is not for everyone but helped work off the food and drink!!

“Enjoyable stay!”

Just note a couple of things - for the pool (which is at least 6-7 ft deep the entire length of the pool and only accessible by a step ladder) you must bring your own towel or buy one for $15. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and shower was great! Just note a couple of things - for the pool (which is at least 6-7 ft deep the entire length of the pool and only accessible by a step ladder) you must bring your own towel or buy one for $15. Also we did not opt for the breakfast as it seemed very minimal. Lastly, it is a 20 min walk downhill to the port. Coming back up the hill to the hotel is a trek, especially in the hot summer months. But it was good exercise! But I must say that the staff was very friendly and amenable.
