I just spent a little over a week in Cannes for a business trip and my stay at Sun Riviera Hotel was wonderful. The hotel is conveniently located just about a block away from the Croisette, the beautiful beachside harbor full of luxury restaurants and beaches. The rooms are beautiful and well kept, with beautiful classic French architecture and decor. They have a nice, modern and large elevator, always a big plus especially if you're traveling with a lot of luggage. You can eat a wonderful breakfast buffet, daily, and they serve a large assortment of eggs, breads, cheeses, yogurts, etc. I for one thought their croissants and pain au chocolat were simply amazing. Finally, the staff was very professional and extremely polite and helpful. I highly recommend Sun Riviera Hotel if you're visiting the French Riviera.

It was in a great location - walking distance to the old town Cannes, the train station and the beach. I would 100% stay here again when I come back to Cannes.

“Disappointing”

We stayed at this hotel many many times over 20years and recommend it to business colleagues and friends. Although we are regular clients there is not a chance of an upgrade. Although the upselling was strong! We knew that the room was small but for a 10 day stay and regular clients it was disappointing. The bathroom shower was very tight to use. Underneath the bed was dirty. We noticed that the protector sheet on the bed was very soiled on the second day and we requested that it be changed. We assumed it was done. A week later we checked to find that it was still very dirty. You have to pay for a beach towel. A bit mean when the cost to stay there is high. All that was offered as an apology was a €20 charge for beach towels. Great location.
