A true delight located in Cannes. My best choice for Can. Superb hotel with friendly charismatic staff that offer brilliant guidance and advice on all things Nice. This hotel is close to the train station and bus and trams stops. Waling distance from all major landmarks and shopping areas. This area has much to offer such as beautiful local French cuisines and local artisan shopping offerings. At the hotel the staff are friendly and bilingual (French and English) which really helped us out. Our room was Lovely and comfortable room. Food was excellent. Highly Recommended.

“Great Budget hotel, but awful checkout”

My partner and I stayed here for a couple nights during my interrailing trip. The location of this hotel is perfect. It is a 2 min walk to the train station and about a 5 min walk to the beach. There are also lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and had great customer service! We arrived early but was able to check our bags in and headed out. Again, when we arrived back to the hotel late at night the male night reception was super friendly! Great customer service! However, on checkout the lady at reception was very rude. We overheard her ask for 40 cent more from the couple in front of us as the hotel had charged them wrong. And then without even saying hello she stated that we owe money. We had paid in full on arrival so was confused and asked why. She stated that the gentleman who checked us in had not calculated it right and that we owed €2. As this had happened to the people in front of us as well we felt it was wrong of them to be asking every customer for the extra money if it was the hotel at fault. She became very abrupt and said “will you not pay it then”. Obviously we weren’t bothered about the €2 but it was the way we were being spoken to considering it was the hotel at fault. Perhaps staff training in customer service is needed for this individual as well as training in basic numerical skills. Overall, I don’t want to leave a terrible review as it was only that one lady who treated us very badly and was very rude. All the other staff were amazing and went above and beyond! So yes I would recommend this hotel to those who are looking for a cheap stay in Cannes with the perfect location! Just disappointed in the bad ending!
