“Fantastic staff!”
Yes this is a basic hotel which gives you what you need in a room but I would like to say how fantastic the staff were on our short visit. Every need was met and they went above and beyond. From opening up an adjoining room so we had enough room to iron a bridesmaid dress to tumble drying our wet… more
Yes this is a basic hotel which gives you what you need in a room but I would like to say how fantastic the staff were on our short visit. Every need was met and they went above and beyond. From opening up an adjoining room so we had enough room to iron a bridesmaid dress to tumble drying our wet swimming gear, holding a baby bath whilst we attended a wedding in cognac and holding our luggage whilst we had a day out in Bordeaux…all done with a smile. They absolutely made our trip travelling with a baby so much less stressful. Also going in the middle of august the rooms are so cool and comfortable. It’s around the corner from lovely places to eat and the tram stop is two minutes away for easy access to airport and Bordeaux. It’s no frills but would definitely stay again - thank you Kyriad!

This Kyriad hotel has very good transport connections being only 2minutes away from a tram stop on the Tram A route between the airport (7minutes away) & the city centre (25minutes away). The hotel staff (receptionist/barman/waitress) were all very friendly. We had very tasty breakfasts which were available for 5hours - this included cereals, croissants, cheese, ham, yoghurts, toast, juices, tea, coffee and cooked bacon, sausages and scrambled eggs. The bar had a decent range of alcoholic and soft drinks available at reasonable prices. Our room was very quiet and featured a comfortable double bed, tv, free Wi-Fi, kettle, tea and coffee, air-conditioning and a good sized bathroom with a powerful overhead shower. The only negative was that we had to go reception every evening as our ‘electronic key’ would not work to get it re-charged. Otherwise, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel as a great budget hotel if you’re visiting the wonderful city of Bordeaux.

“Nice stopover and handy to the airport”
This was a good last night in France. Its proximity to the airport made it ideal for a flight the next morning. The staff was very friendly and the room very comfortable. The lobby was a nice place for a glass of wine before dinner.

“Reasonable accommodation”

This was a last minute booking where we missed a flight (never under estimate the traffic issues in Bordeaux!). We needed 2 last minute rooms and found this reasonably priced hotel. Photos looked good and actually the rooms themselves in terms of comfort and facilities are good. If you are looking for any more than a room well then this is where the hotel falls a little short. They offer a buffet evening meal for 22 euros which did not look appetising for the money so we ended up walking around the corner to A lovely Italian. We came back about 10pm wanting a drink at the bar and it was all shut up except for a small area with a couple of seats. We had a drink but the salsa music playing, probably the choice of the lady working at the time, was just too much for us to enjoy a quiet drink. Another thing to note about this hotel is the noise of vehicles - as it’s like a motel, cars are parked directly outside of your room so when they leave it gets rather loud, and in general the road noise is loud. In summary though, the room served a purpose and was reasonably priced but would never be a hotel of choice for a repeat visit to Bordeaux.
