Great place to stay with family. We have chosen the 4-5 persons appartment and stayed there with 2 persons and that was great. Would have been too small for me to stay in the appartment with 4 people. Basic equipment available. Convenient and beautiful. Nice balconies. Bread service with delivery from an excellent bakery. Would return again for a week. Nice pool area.

“clean and friendly”

Pierre & Vacances is a nice site for family holidays. It's located close to the etang the Cazeaux (also called Lac Nord), to Biscarrosse plage you need 5 - 10 minutes by car. Pierre & Vacances is a nice site for family holidays. It's located close to the etang the Cazeaux (also called Lac Nord), to Biscarrosse plage you need 5 - 10 minutes by car. All other places of interest are at least one and a half hours away, this due to the terrible traffic during the whole summer season. If you don't mind to spend some hours in a car, P&V might be a good base to discover the region (90 min Bordeaux and Bayonne, 120 min. Medoc, St.Emilion and Biarritz).P&V is a clean and useful buildings, nice and tiny surrounding parc and pool site. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be organized by the reception for following morning (when you order "full breakfast" nothing is missing!). Our apartment had a small room with 2 beds, a living room with an extendable couch for 2 persons, kitchen block, table, four chairs, and a small cupboard with tv on it, bathroom and a separate toilette, as well as a terrace with plastic table, 4plastic chairs, clothes dryer and view to the poolsite. The apartment is nothing special, not beautiful, however we finally found out that nothing was missing. After 3 days we asked for fresh towels, but I was told this service is not included in a one-week stay (however I got fresh towels from a friendly staff member). For swimming you can go to the close lake, that is just few minutes away from P&V or you go to Biscarrosse Plage where the Atlantic with a nice sandy beach is waiting. In Biscarrosse Plage you find further many restaurants, bars and everything fitting to perfect holidays.

The reception are very helpful, friendly and kind. The apartments are clean and tidy when you first arrive. The pool is very clean and not over crowded. We were impressed by the size of the apartment with a double bedroom upstairs and two bathrooms however apartments are all different so this is just one layout. We were impressed by the size of the apartment with a double bedroom upstairs and two bathrooms however apartments are all different so this is just one layout. Decor felt dated and in need of modernisation and the table inside was in need of replacing as varnish came off when it got wet and it had that sticky feel to it. Kitchen was adequate although too small to prepare meals with no worktop space. We used the microwave oven to do pizza and appliances were in very good condition. Balcony was not the biggest for 5 people and felt cramped. Also got no sun so our swimming things didn’t dry despite hot temperatures. Smoking from surround apartments was a problem starting at 6am and finishing at 12-1am. One night it felt that they smoked all night. Drifted into our rooms despite windows being closed and woke us up - v strong smelling. Few facilities at apartments - would be nice to have more for children. Felt very much like a travelodge with a pool! For the price I would expect a bit more. Pool was lovely and very warm.
