A sweet little two story hotel, away from the main area of Sharm. The hotel does provide free shuttle buses to town and the beach, which takes five mins. There isn't anywhere really to walk to from this hotel, but there is a great little restaurant up the road called Piscsso that does a superb Sunday lunch and the owner is delightful. The hotel its self is split into two area's a 'noisy pool' with all the activities going on and music to make your ears bleed from 10am. The other pool is the 'Quiet Pool', no music allowed. We stayed at this one, much more sedate. Loads of sunbeds, little pool side bar. This hotel doesn't do snacks out of breakfast/lunch/dinner but there is small shop onsite you can buy crisps etc if you need them. The main foyer is busy in the evening, people playing cards & drinking. There is a theatre/stage on site, but we never went to this as we went to town, or sat in the bar with friends. The rooms are very generous in size, the beds could sleep four people!!! There is only one restaurant, the food is hot and varied and you wont go hungry. Oh- there is a great Indian restaurant on site - the food is amazing. The staff are so kind and work so hard, they are only about 30 - 50 dollars a month so make sure you tip. The hotel is spotless, rooms cleaned everyday. As this hotel is away from the main area, the holidays here are much cheaper, which unfortunately brings a few dregs in & I'm ashamed to say it was mostly the Brits that caused issues. Seeing people so pissed they cant walk, abusing the staff generally making a bloody nuisance of themselves. One bloke was so pissed he walked out of the hotel & got run over by a car & ended up in hospital. Another young bloke was naked throwing sunbeds about - he was ejected from the hotel. Its weird how these dregs are the ones that constantly complained about everything. I felt so sorry for the staff putting up with this dreadful behavior. Don't let this put you off, these people are in the minority and we enjoyed watching everything unfold- better then an episode of Eastenders!!! Habib, (I hope I've spelt his name right) on reception is so kind and goes out of his way to make your stay enjoyable. I really enjoyed this hotel, value for money, lovely staff, plenty of food & drink. If I wanted a quick get away with no fuss Id choose this place again. Lots of people we spoke to had been to this hotel many times before - its just an easy holiday. Oh - take LOTS of insect repellant and make sure you use it!! Have fun :)

First time to the Xperience st George resort and we Can’t fault the hotel the staff are brilliant and very helpful. The cleaners , bar staff and animation team (especially Alya she’s so happy and bubbly) they all go out of there way to make sure you have a good time. The pools are nice and clean and the pool areas are regularly cleaned. The gym is good and has a good variety of equipment. The food there is a good variety and it’s always hot but does lack the basics like chips in the evening. The free shuttle bus to coral beach and sandy beach is a good idea but the beaches aren’t amazing. Coral beach and the resort it’s on is very run down and dirty sandy beach was better but both beaches are over run with Russians who are rude. After going to Egypt many times we are Not keen on the area if we could pick the hotel and staff up and move them closer to the beach we would :) We read before coming out this is mainly an English guest hotel but this is far from true on our stay as there was only 146 English guests to 206 Russians which was disappointing as the Russians do ruin the atmosphere with their rudeness and pushing into ques etc.

Has it happened to you to read not very good reviews but then the hotel to turn out good?... the reverse thing here. Reviews are exceptional, but the hotel is avg. The mislead begins with the name - 'homestay' is a better substitute of a 'lower category' than the other xperience hotels. maybe its meant that the hallways are not carpet and you hear the pushed cs card approaching like a tank. soap and some cheap shower gel come from a dispenser. the central aircon is incredibly loud and does not distribute air equally... the place is good for a family with kids since the animation is entirely directed to that- it begins at 2pm and lasts till 4 pm. very loud, and if your room is on the pool side, forget about afternoon nap. when i asked to be moved to the other side, the receptionist was simply careless, saying to ask him in two days because it was busy then, although the janitors told me there were vacant rooms on the quiet side. food - disappointment. small buffet, grill was horrible, only fish and chicken, the latter always dry and tasteless, the fish seemed to have been defrosted once but not cooked, then re-frosted- texture to the point that i could barely hold it in my mouth - inedible, and i am not extremely picky. on the second day i gave up on the bbq. the tons of french fries were doing the trick to satisfy foreigners. wine came from refill containers, only by glass, of low quality. beer was the weakest and most tasteless i ever had. i gave up and only had fanta since it was closest to the original. dinners were meant to be made on specific world cuisine but only for the record. two white girls were standing by the restaurant door wearing some very cheap outfits that were supposed to resemble the specific culture. music was a mismatch too... indian on chinese evening, etc. food did not reflect the subject in any way. although on a big promo, this holiday was more expensive than my stays in tunisia and turkey earlier, and not on the same level. yes, tunisia deals in the same category turned out better and cheaper. if you are with kids and french fries are your staple you will be happy. shuttles to the beaches are organized but not too frequent and you must plan your time well. the coral beach is nothing in terms of watching corals. small and packed, you get tired right away. not much to see either. its mostly the view there from the sunbeds. on the sand beac the swim area is outlined by a bow, if you are not there early it gets crowded and you can only dip in the water basically. if you cross the buoy the guard whistles right away.... for a swimmer it is not possible to do much.

Brilliant hotel 2nd time ive been ther but this time woz a bad experience because ov Nabil Mario the Excursion guy in the hotel because he asked so many questions and give us a really bad attitude and made me feel anxious and like i had done wrong all because we booked a Safari day trip with somebody else in Naama bay before we flew out to Egypt and didnt book with him and i really want go back too St george hotel but hes putting myself and other guests off going back which is sad as the hotel and hotel staff are amazing people
