This is a lovely hotel with the best staff ever, every single staff member from the housekeeping to the management team were outstanding. There was entertainment every night, drinks were bought to your table with a smile. The layout of the hotel was really pretty lots of 2 story buildings in lovely gardens. The rooms were fine just the shower was really small but we coped okay. Will definitely be going back.

Just returned from a holiday at the Solymar Naama Bay Hotel.. A small hotel in the central area of ​​Sharm el-Sheikh. “A Memorable Stay at Hotel Solymar Namma Bay – Perfect for Christmas & Beyond”

I’m currently lounging by the pool, midway through a 14-day holiday at Hotel Solymar Namma Bay, which includes Christmas, my birthday, and New Year’s celebrations. While my stay isn’t over yet, I feel compelled to share my glowing impressions so far. The rooms are spacious and impeccably maintained by the diligent housekeeping staff. My only minor critique is the shower cubicle – it’s quite snug, even for an average-sized person, but the cleanliness and comfort of the room more than make up for it. The grounds and pool areas are beautifully kept, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. One unique feature is the way sunbeds are reserved – once you place your towel, it’s yours for the duration of your stay. While this is different from other hotels where there are specific morning rules for reserving sunbeds, it ensures no stress or competition for spots, which is a thoughtful touch. The hotel provides a free shuttle to its private beach area. While it’s a nice perk, I found the beach quite busy and challenging to find a peaceful sunny spot. Additionally, the lack of an all-inclusive concept at the beach has kept me anchored to the hotel, as food and drinks aren’t included there. Expanding the all-inclusive package to the beach would be a fantastic improvement, as it would encourage guests to make use of both the beach and hotel facilities more equally. The food at the hotel is overall satisfying. Breakfast caters more to a Russian palate, so as an Englishman, I’ve relied on the made-to-order omelets. However, both lunch and dinner have been excellent, with plenty of variety and delicious options that left me more than content. I must highlight the Christmas Eve gala dinner – it was spectacular! From cocktails and beautifully prepared roast turkey to stunning desserts and live entertainment (including a saxophonist, dancers, and belly dancers), the hotel went above and beyond to create a magical evening. It was a night to remember, and it truly made our holiday special. The animation team by the pool is fantastic. They’re friendly, engaging, and never pushy, making activities like darts fun and enjoyable. They’re a real credit to the hotel. Similarly, the bar staff are attentive and efficient, quickly remembering your drink preferences and ensuring you’re never left waiting. Overall, I’m having a wonderful time at Hotel Solymar Namma Bay. While there are minor areas for improvement, such as the all-inclusive concept at the beach, these don’t detract from the exceptional experience provided by the staff, amenities, and festive atmosphere. I’m looking forward to celebrating my birthday and New Year’s here, and I’ll be sure to update my review at the end of my stay.
