Rixos have out done themselves again! We stayed at Seagate last year and loved it so much we booked the 18+ side for this year. This side is levels above Seagate (which is hard to beat on its own). The service is absolutely immaculate, from the waiters in the restaurants, bar tenders, pool boys, reception staff and the room cleaners. We were celebrating our anniversary and we arrived to our room to a delicious cake and some decorations. On our last night we had more fun decorations! They truly go above and beyond from the kindness of their heart. Mohammed who looks after block 3 (we were 3131) was amazing, he checked up on us when he saw us going for breakfast and dinner and came to say goodbye the morning we left. This extra level of service and care is what makes Rixos truly special. The restaurants are all tasty, our favourites being the Mangal (outside BBQ), Lalezar (Turkish) and the Brazilian (Casa Brazil style), but all have options for everyone. The buffet is the best all inclusive buffet I have had. So many options all really tasty and there is often something special on each night (first night of Eid they had a whole display of different food and the best chocolate e soufflé). My only recommendation would be for more food labels at the buffet. As someone with many allergies which are not common, I had to be over cautious as did not know what certain dishes contained and the language barrier made this difficult to communicate at times. Every day at 5pm there is a beach DJ which is amazing. House/techno music with dancers, great vibes if thats your thing and ends at 6:30pm. My only small complaint is that the PADI and excursion sales guys are everywhere, some are really friendly and are lovely to chat to but after a while it can get quite annoying being asked multiple times a day. But this did not take anything away from our experience. We will 1000% be back and this will be a regular resort for us.

Another fantastic holiday here! Couldn’t fault anything during our stay, We were well looked after by all staff nothing was too much trouble! The food was amazing, there is so much to choose from! Our favourite evening meal was Italian! It was my birthday while we were here Ash and Mohamed Hakem and all staff made my birthday that little more special! The duty manager Micheal who hadn’t long been there was amazing! So friendly always had time to talk to you and always making sure you were happy with everything and if you had any feedback to let him know. Can already see the difference from our last visit! Cannot wait to come back! Thank you to the whole team!

I visited Rixos Sharm El Sheikh two years ago and was impressed by the food, which included a wide variety of beef, chicken, seafood, and vegan options, each with many choices. However, during my recent visit, I noticed a significant decline in the food quality and variety. While the four main categories are still present, the options are fewer and not tasty. The food now seems to be more about presentation than flavour. At the pool and beach, cocktails are served in carton cups, which affects the taste. When I requested a multifunctional plastic cup, I was told there were not enough available. Why not order more? Moreover, the cups were only rinsed with water, and I could still see residues. The desserts, although visually appealing, lack taste. There is a wide variety of desserts on display, ranging from cakes and pastries to puddings and traditional sweets. However, despite the impressive assortment, they are all disappointingly tasteless. It feels like a missed opportunity, as the beautiful presentation suggests high quality, but the flavours don't live up to the expectation. Additionally, the room service was disappointing. We encountered several issues with our room and were repeatedly denied a room change, despite the problems. The fresh juice bar uses small carton cups, suitable for Turkish coffee, but not for orange juice. They often run out of juice before the designated time, and it's frustrating to be told they can't squeeze more. The mini golf carts are slow and take a long time to arrive. On two occasions, I missed lunch because of the delay, regardless of how long I waited, as the carts were always full. The Wi-Fi is super slow and if you move even a little bit, you lose the connection entirely. Given the size of the hotel, it’s frustrating that there isn’t good Wi-Fi coverage in every corner. Reliable internet access is essential, and this is a major inconvenience. Overall, the experience was disappointing compared to my previous visit. Several areas need improvement to meet the high standards expected from a resort like Rixos.
