It was my third time returning to Monte Carlo Resort & Spa. I travelled this time with my 17th year old daughter, who was visiting for her second time. On checking in, we had a lovely welcome from Mohamed on reception, who is very pleasant and always smiling and helpful. We were given our welcome drink and then taken to our room, which was a first floor sea view. My daughter had a lovely surprise for her birthday from Mahmoud, who had organised balloons, banners, and birthday cake for her. Mina always kept our room clean and tidy. Anything we needed, we only had to ask him. Every day, we would have a different towel art on our beds. Each night, when we left the pool to go to our room, he would be there to give us fresh towels for the next day. This time visiting was a week of relaxation. I'm an early bird and was awake for sunrise every day, which I could see from our room. We spent the week relaxing by the pool. Each morning, I would go to our sunbeds, Mostafa would put our beach towels on our beds and ask if we needed anything. Every time we have stayed here, there's always plenty of sunbeds, so there's no need to rush for them. This time of year, the pool is heated but could be a little warmer. Once we were in, we were fine. We booked the spa for facials, full body massages, and pedicures. Fabio for facials and pedicures and Ghada for full body massage. I'd 100% recommend. We were always greeted with a smile from Saber, the Spa Manager. Our number One is Ayman who works in The Waves Bar, he is simply the best. He works so hard running around attending to everyone. If he's not at the Waves Bar, he'd be in one of the restaurants. We ate at the buffet, Chinese, Indian and the Grill. Lovely food. The staff are always smiling and attentive. The grounds are kept beautiful. The gardeners work in hot weather all year round. When we were here in the summer, they worked in extreme heat. Again, they always smile and say hi. Lastly, I would like to thank Mahmoud, Front Office Manager. He always makes sure our time at Monte Carlo is a memorable one. Nothing is too much trouble for him. The same goes for the rest of the staff. The staff are what makes our holiday a good one. Happy staff, happy customers. I have read a couple of negative reviews. The staff work hard and long hours to make everyone's holiday a good one. They always smile and say hello. This is my third time here, and I will be back again.
