Pool area is nice, staff are friendly and helpful, and it's in an ideal location but it isn't very well managed. 1. Entertainment team don't actually appear around the pool until 4pm every day - no music and no yoga or games before then! 2. Pool bar only has 2 staff - 1 serving drinks and 1 running around so queues always too long to get a drink! 3. Main restaurant lacks organisation - either no table left, they have dirty pots on, or no cutlery, and the queues for plates, cups, drinks and food is like being back in school! There aren't even any waiters going around getting drinks so you even have to queue for them! 4. Rooms basic - bathroom had a mouldy shower curtain (need I say more)!

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days the hotel is beautiful The staff are all friendly and amazingly helpful nothing is too much trouble Food...repetitive unfortunately a huge let down, the omelette chef in the morning was amazing Animation...again a lot to be desired could do a lot more than darts and stretching during the day all seemed aimed at evening entertainment which was aimed at the young girls in their twenties music during the day round the main pool was loud and aimed at the anger clientele couldn't hear yourself think....only Amr seemed to interact with everyone The reception looked amazing with the Christmas decs

We booked all inclusive stay and were given a tour by the night manager when we arrived, and gave us wrong information which led to us being charged for a dinner which should have been included. We also booked some activities with their team , diving which did not happen like it was supposed to (we could not dive together, but separate, we only dove for around 20 mins in total , less than advertised) . They always try to give you 'discounts' but in reality cut something off - for the safari trip we were supposed to go on camels like they advertised, in the end apparently he gave us a 5 USD discount off the trip, but cut the camels off from the activity, then asking us to pay 5 USD extra to include it. Reception staff is very cold and unfriendly, using their phones on shift even though you are standing waiting to be assisted in front of them. The way they talk is careless and they are not understanding or helpful. Cleaning is done on the surface, under the bed there is thick layer of dust, bathrooms are moldy and rusty on the tiles, when we checked in there was a lot of hair on my bed (later they changed the bedsheet as per our request) , but this makes me believe they did not even replace the bedsheet before I checked in. The resort is very nice and the food is alright, Sharm el sheikh is very lovely location. But this resort is nowhere near 5 star as they claim, probably this is another standard than European, I would give it like 3 stars.

Positives: You will lose weight! Feels very safe and you get offered tours you might want to do without being hassled (Snorkelling trips are amazing). The hotel is close to the beach, the main pool has been refurbished recently and is modern and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We liked that the hotel staff will accompany you to beach bars/ clubs after the standard entertainment finished all organised by the hotel (additional cost). We managed to get a sun bed on the beach each time and also round the main pool but only just so imagine this would be difficult in peak season. The beach is sandy, the snorkelling is amazing and made the whole stay worth it. Our room was spacious, had a good view of the main pool and very large comfy beds. Housecleaning came daily and again were very friendly. Negatives: (which I would have voiced to the hotel if asked at any point during our stay, including checkout!).. The standard or room cleaning needs improvement especially the bathroom and floors, the bathrooms are old, grubby and certainly ready for and upgrade. The balcony could be swept daily- ours got sandy which then ends up in the room. There isn’t much direction to where anything is when you check in, you are given a small poorly printed map which is almost impossible to read. The road you have to cross to get to the beach is NOT fun, a free for all on a busy road not knowing when to cross or stop. Timings of when things are open such as the pool bar and beach bar seem a bit stingy. There is no free branded drinks but we didn’t expect it really. I would imagine if staying for longer than a week the entertainment would become pretty dull if you don’t plan to leave as it was very repetitive. If you got a room with no view I would say it’s quite depressing. A lot of the ‘many pools’ were closed for refurbishment and of course this was not mentioned on loveholidays when booking. So on to the main issue- the food! It is very very poor, although at first it seems like there would be a lot of choice, there is not! The main restaurant is a free for all often hard to find a table and very busy with long queues.. outside of peak! In the height of season it must be horrendous. We are normally happy to get on board with any national cuisine and are not fussy eaters at all but most of it was either completely tasteless, horrendously dry or didn’t look appealing at all, this was the same for all three times of day. The snack bar is only open 4-5 which is just not good enough for an all inclusive hotel. There are large gaps where you cannot get food unless you pay the (small) price on the beach… something I would recommend as the food was just about okay. This isn’t ideal when having to work around trip/excursion times or personal preferences. I survived on whipped cheese and cucumber for most meals! Another very big grudge we have is that, again falsely- this hotel is said to have two ‘a la carte’ restaurants.. it DOES NOT. The Italian on the beach is a buffet! The only thing that makes it Italian is the fact there is some tasteless pizza, still very very poor. The ‘Mexican’ is NOT Mexican, has an exceptionally small set menu and little choice, it was more Italian than the Italian!! Again not in any way a la carte and so so poor. The way this hotel is advertised is the biggest issue. The food information is misleading, the pool information is misleading and it is stated as ‘beachside’ which although it isn’t far isn’t true. All that being said we paid a very low price, is this a 5* by British standard no… but we all know this is often the case by now surely!? Whist I appreciate that it’s frustrating if you think you’re getting 5* luxury if you see a 5* for £1600pp for a week in the same place and this for £450pp you haven’t got lucky.. there is a reason. So yes work needs to be done but considering what we paid I’d stay again… just take plenty of snacks!
