“Top staff”

Once again a fantastic stay, we keep coming back, and it’s the staff that make it, Mahmoud in the restaurant always looked after us and made sure we had plenty to drink and started to make our table for 6… Mahmoud saied at the reception bar was great as well 😎 he always kept his eye on us and topped us up when we finished, his favourite English word was “Whatever” 🤣 The man who makes our room up always makes an animal 🦒 of sort for when we get back in 🤣

“Possibly best holiday ever”

First impressions were wow and we were not wrong, the hotel was marvelous and all the staff were fantastic and fell over them selves to help us, the front desk guys were amazing, and the barmen mustafa and Moud ( hopefully I've spelt it right) were fantastic the whole time we were there. Rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard and lovely towel sculptures were left every day. Food was a bit hit and miss but it didn't ruin our experience. Pools were lovely and clean and the views of the mountains are amazing. The trip rep Muhammed was always so helpful and sorted us out a fantastic trip to the mountains in dune buggies. Will definitely return as everyone is just so friendly. Thanks for making our holiday the best ever.

“Relaxing week away. ”

We've had an enjoyable week, relaxing and enjoying a week's break away from British weather. The staff make the hotel. We've had an enjoyable week, relaxing and enjoying a week's break away from British weather. The staff make the hotel. Without them the hotes reviews would be very different I believe.  There are too many great staff to personally mention as all deserve praise but i will mention some. Ahmed in the restaurant was so very helful. The bar staff are friendly and entertaining. Especially "whatever' Mahmoud and  "geezer" Mahood and Mastafa saya. Mohamed Mabrouk the pool attendant was fantastic.  Kept pool area clean and tidy. Brought us cups of water and reminded us we need to drink water. The room guys made the best beutiful beds. Entertainment staff very friendly.  Staff couldn't do enough for us. It was very sad to see staff being abused by other visitors to the hotel. Especially some to Mohamed  the pool attendant who was treated like a slave by 3 men who were flicking cigarettes and cans around the pool area and expected Mohamed to pick it all up despite them being given a rubbish bin and ashtray,  I hope mohammed is recognised for his professionalism how he handled such rude obnoxious people. The hotel is pleasant. Tired in places and is need of some TLC. The rooms are spacious again in need of TLC and maybe a good scrub. The bed is amazingly comfortable. The AC was good in the room. The pools are clean and it's lovely to have a quiet pool for adults only. There is a free shuttle bus.to the hotels beach, this is nice to visit food and drink available but no alcohol. The food  was fine for us but if you're English and expect the usual English breakfast and buffet style food you'll not receive it here. The hotel caters to a more local cuisine. We enjoyed the food but we have international taste buds. The main meal meat changed every night, to have quail, sheep, veal, crab and duck made a nice change from usual chicken. On the whole I really enjoyed the food and enjoyed trying new foods. Do ask staff if you need butter or ketchup as these are not put out. The all inclusive drinks are pretty ropey. Local spirits are quite rough and the lager is not great. The evening entertainment was OK. Bit samey. The hotel entertainment team especially Rico kept the evenings going. We booked a couples cleopatra spa. This was AMAZING.  Do haggle on prices but worth every penny. Basically half what the original price offered. If you book an excursion through the reps that visit the hotel, haggle and make sure you have get the full info . We did not, we took an all inclusive  package (lunch, and water included which we found out on trip water was not included and we did not take extra water) for camel ride, quad biking, snorkeling and a canyon walk. We were told we would be back at hotel by 6pm we did not arrive back until after 9pm and missed evening dinner. We were disappointed with the excursion hi lights  6 minutes on a camel, 10 minutes on a quad. 30 mins snorkeling.  Travelled 1.5 hours picking people up and 1.5 hours to location.with stops at shops and forced to try and be sold local tat and wares. Canyon walk should have been great but it was late, everybody was tired and the pushy photographer held everybody up. We did point put all that went wrong to the guy we booked it with who said we must have misunderstood.  We certainly didn't. So our advice is book with caution. Take Egyptian pounds with you as well.
