If you're looking for a holiday in Eygpt look no further than the Coral Sea Water World Resort in Sharm. Myself and my Partner visited this hotel from 27th Nov until 8th December 2024. This hotel is our go-to resort when visiting Sharm El Sheikh because it offers something that a lot of the other resorts do not. This resort caters for British guests primarily from food to the general atmosphere. This year we wanted to say a massive THANK YOU and well done to Lauren who led the Animation team in the absence of the Chief Animator. In a way like no other she took on the role of leading a team of Animators not because someone told her to or because she wanted to but because she took everyone under her wing and was so natural about getting guests involved in the daily activities and programmes and of course, the Animation team would not be complete without; Georgia, Shiko, Hommus and Tweety we did see some others however they came and went. For us our holiday would not have been the same they made us want to get involved in their morning and afternoon programmes even if we did not want to they all just had a way of enticing us to get involved even if that did mean a pool party turning into water balloon dodge ball… haha. We also had the opportunity to get involved in other activities, such as morning stretching, Yoga, aqua-gym, darts, white party in the evening, evening entertainment, Bingo, and Miss Hotel (I and my partner had to take our tops off 👀 for one of the activities). I am still singing songs from Mini Disco at home now. Sad yes I know lol. To conclude our stays with Coral Sea Waterworld would not be the same without this team! They are all a credit to the hotel. Moving on to the general hotel team which is always excellent from the food and beverage team to housekeeping to the lifeguards on duty making sure everyone is safe during the day around the pool. A special shout-out goes out to Ally the lifeguard supervisor who would always spot us coming down from our room and would be waiting to greet us to take our towels off us and escort us to our sun lounger, every morning! This for us was going the extra mile and something we will remember Ally for! Absolute credit to the team! He would also go and get us a sun lounge mattress so that we would be comfortable when catching some sun rays throughout the day. Restaurants on-site - We visited the Italian restaurant on site which was really nice and is table service.*Please take note that you get one visit to the Italian free and if you want to visit after that it is $5pp. The stone grill and Asian and Indian restaurants are $5pp for the first visit. As for our other special shoutout, it would have to be Mo who was always there for us when we wanted a drink around the heated family pool. We would just sit down and he would bring us a coffee for my partner and two cola’s and we didn't even need to ask for us this is top-notch service which is unforgettable. Thank you, Mo! (Now, because everyone is Sharm is called Mo or Mohammed, Mo wears glasses). If you are thinking about booking this hotel, why are you even still thinking about booking? Just BOOK now!! EXCELLENT FOOD, EXCELLENT ENTERTAINMENT, EXCELLENT DRINKS, OVERALL JUST SOMEWHERE YOU WILL LOVE TO GO TIME AFTER TIME.

“Great hotel!”

We loved our family holiday here. We were here the first week of December and found the heat so ideal this time of year, we wouldn’t have wanted it any hotter! We loved our family holiday here. We were here the first week of December and found the heat so ideal this time of year, we wouldn’t have wanted it any hotter! It’s a really lovely and clean hotel with beautiful well kept grounds! We never struggled to get sunbeds as there are more than enough! We couldn’t fault the animation entertainment crew at all, they really made our holiday the best! Specifically Georgia and Lauren, they had so much time for us and our children, they would answer any questions we had and nothing was too much to ask from them! Our children adored them! Evening entertainment was brilliant each evening, there was always something on for the children and adults! The cleaners are so friendly and always make sure the rooms are topped up with all the essentials you will need. They leave lovely towel animals each day in your room. Our balcony room was plenty big enough for 2adults and 2 young children. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The food here was the only downside for us as it was very repetitive each day and we wasn’t very keen.

“Not a 5 star”

This in my honest opinion is not a 5 star hotel. The food was ok, the beach was alright, staff were friendly enough and it was relatively clean, but it's simply not a 5 star hotel.
