We visited this hotel for the second time because of nice snorchling we had experienced previously .To our surprise and shock this time the water in the sea was so murky that we could not see anything it was like swimming in the milk. According to some people who vizit this hotel very often this happens frequently in this area ,so when it happens you have the only chance to enjoy beautiful sea live at 6 am.when sea is calm and clear, otherwise you have to be lucky and there would be stable weather .Hotel itself is calm and cosy with a very good food.

Don't buy sim card in the hotel, they are scamming people, yeah i know that i needed buy sim card in airport, but there was reason i dont do that..first it is very expencive here, 40 eur for 20 gb. On next day i got a message that i am reach out of limit (after 2gb usage). When i come to seller, there was another guy, he sayd that maybe guy who selled me sim card dont understand me, becouse this guy is bad in english (yea, sure, 40eur for 2gb good deal.) Ok, he fixed my issue, but in the end of my vocation after 10 gb usage (i have data monitor) i got again message that i am reach out limit :). Seller start works at 10AM, my transfer to airport was 9:30Am, so no chance to explain about another "mistake". I telled about this scamm in reception, but there is no one interested in this. Everything rest in hotel is good, service, food, coral reef.

Old ( 27 years) hotel located on the big area which would allow to build 4 separate hotels on Hurghada or Sharm coast. Direct access to the large beach, no problem with beach furniture - available all the time with no "morning reservation" to be made. The large house reef is in very poor condition, corals are seriously devastated however you can meet a lot of fish there including big clown fish to be seen just on 1,5 m deep water . So ideal for the people who just start their snorkling adventure as well as for children in the school age. Snorklers are forced to share the beach and waters with windsurfers but no major conflicts are to be observed . Hotel rooms are divided into two zones - the northern part offers the so-called "superior" rooms, and the southern one - "standard" ones. The difference between them is the bathroom - the "superior" offers a shower instead of a bathtub. According to the hotel's declaration, the Superior rooms were renovated in 2014, but it is not visible at all. The furniture is old, the mattresses are not comfortable, and the wardrobe door does not want to open without making a huge noise. The shower strainers had not been descaled for ages. Be careful when using the balcony - if you move the balcony door too far - you will simply lock it and stay outside, usually leaving the key inside. As the hotel was built in the 20th century - the gardens are full of nice bushes and flowers, the palm trees are large and green and you feel a pleasant smell around your balcony. Another positive thing is the restaurant offering 3 meals a day (in "all in" option). They offer the standard menu that you know from other Red Sea hotels, but it is well prepared and the fish, beef, chicken and vegetables are really tasty. Local alcohols are also offered in the "all in" option, but their quality decreases every year and you can only find liquids called red wine, white wine, gin and tonic, cubalibra, which completely lack taste. Low-alcohol lager is then probably the best alternative, at least fresh and cold. Fortunately, you can get reasonable espresso or cappuccino in the bars, which is not the rule in other hotels. You can also prepare your own tea in your room equipped with a kettle. The staff in the restaurant/bar is nice and quite professional, which cannot be said about their colleagues in the hotel part - receptionists with very basic knowledge of English and non-efficient room cleaning boys make a really bad impression. Internet costs extra (2 EUR for 30 minutes), but you can easily buy a large own package (40 Gb @ USD 25 in 2024) upon arrival at Marsa Alam airport. The hotel can therefore be recommended to older people who are looking for a quiet place and do not have high expectations regarding accommodation.
