What a fantastic time we've had. From start to finish everything was superb and we felt like we were part of the Hilton Marsa Alam Nubian Resort family. I will try to break down my comments into various sections in the hope that I don't ramble too much! Hotel & Grounds: There is the main part of the hotel, where reception, lobby bar, Axis bar, main restaurant, Italian a la carte and small shopping mall (with ATM machine) are located. The rooms are spread out over a large area in various low-rise blocks. There are 4 different pools to choose from, 2 of which are heated in the winter season, with plenty of sunbeds. 3 of them also have a bar. The hotel grounds are beautiful with plenty of flowers and shrubs, and the gardeners are very busy keeping them looking good. There is a large private section of the beach with plenty of sunbeds and parasols which is a short walk through the grounds, although there is a regular shuttle bus taking guests there and back throughout the day. There is a beach bar there, as well as some additional shops and the dive centre. Food: The main buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are 3 a la carte restaurants which you can book for dinner - Italian, Oriental and Seafood. Our favourite was the Oriental. There are several bars around the grounds which serve snacks, and the beach bar also provides a small lunchtime buffet as well as snacks later in the day. We mainly ate at the buffet restaurant for dinner and the food selection was very good. Each night of the week there was a different theme, which made it more varied. The food is continually topped up and the staff work very hard to turn around tables for the guests. One piece of advice: it is best to get your table BEFORE filling up your plate with food and then trying to find somewhere to sit! Rooms: These are spread around the hotel grounds with various different types, including suites. We had upgraded to a deluxe double room since we were staying for 4 weeks, and we were not disappointed! Special thanks to our cleaners Ahmed and Mahmoud for taking care of us. Entertainment: There are plenty of events organised in the evenings both by the Animation Team and Management which you can enjoy if you wish. We thoroughly enjoyed the Belly Dancing and Whirling Dervish displays, as well as the performances of Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean. The saxophonist was absolutely superb. In addition, the Animation Team are very active and there's always something going on. To be honest, this is the best Animation Team we have ever experienced, so thanks to Beso, Katarina, Julia, Theresa (tall one), Theresa (shorter one), Moo, Junior, King Kong and Vanka. We thoroughly enjoyed interacting with you, particularly at the Mini Disco in the evenings! Thank you for making our days and evenings so entertaining. Staff: These are the real stars of the hotel and we cannot praise them enough for their kindness, friendliness, efficiency and hard work. There are too many people to mention but we would like to specifically thank Gamal, Hani, Zohary, Bashier, Peter, Helana, Nada, Karim, all of the Guest Relations Team under the leadership of Mahmoud, and several Ahmeds! You made our holiday so special, and we still laugh at the video we took of Hani dancing! Finally, we enjoyed our holiday so much that we have already booked to return for 4 weeks in November 2025! We look forward to seeing everyone again then.
