Ok, so if you are expecting English 5 star, you will be disappointed. Please remember this is Egypt. I read the reviews before booking for myself and my granddaughter who is 12 and to be honest, you have to pick the bones out of the reviews but the price was reasonable so we booked. The staff were very friendly and helpful but please remember these people live from tips and they work long hours for this reason. Found a couple quite pushy but you just have to be firm and they leave you alone. The room was spacious and as we were ground level, it was ideal for the sea, pool and loungers. Not far to walk for the restaurant either. Fridge was needed as medication had to be kept cold. Once the key is taken out of the power source it turned off but learnt to keep an old reward card in and it stayed on. Bedding was very clean and rooms cleaned every day. Shower was ok but at peak times, hot water ran out. I was impressed that they use duvets. The room stayed quite cool as it was in the shade. Air con was quite noisy but wasn't needed much. Furniture was a little tired but the room was only used to wash, sleep and get changed. It was fine. Towels provided for loungers which was good. Food was just as we expected. Plenty of selection and something for everyone. Amazing Danish pastry and bread selection for breakfast. Just be prepared to queue for eggs and omelettes as these are popular. Was a bit disappointed as not much food available outside of meal times. Loved the BBQ cooking in the evening. Salad/fruit very fresh and wide choices. Yes, you get the reps round to sell tours but this is their life and they get commission. They were chatty and talking to them is a good way to find out what is around and helpful with the small things like best exchange places. The location is good. Between old and new town but watch the taxi drivers, they will rip you off given half the chance. Use the hotel cars if you need to travel out. My only real bug is the shops on the complex. The staff were VERY pushy but just don't make eye contact and keep walking (unless you want to go in) and you will be ok. Ali on the cabana bar was very friendly and always made you feel welcome. Please book with an open mind and you won't be disappointed. I would definitely book again. The view was stunning and loved the snorkelling/scuba diving off the hotel bay. The coral here is beautiful.

To start with, the food is not good at the hotel, the main restaurant buffet is not very good food, same every day, the only edible thing is the soup and bread, selection is really poor and limited. The la carte restaurants are somewhat more edible but still not very good, and variety of all inclusive items isn’t good, a lot of stuff you have to pay for. But the hotel location is good, it is near the airport and has some surrounding nice areas, can get to hurghada city centre with uber very very cheap less then 1 british pound. DO NOT USE ORANGE TAXI, USE UBER. The amenities like the pools and the beaches are lovely, the waters are nice and lots of sun loungers never had a problem not getting one, the rooms are okay, not like the photos but is a place to lay your head down. Ladies beware the men are a little creepy if you are without a man they can pester you a bit and the strip leading to the hotel from the gates has many shops and the people always ask you to come in, it’s quite annoying. Overall the experience would be much better if it wasn’t for the food, the food was such a let down and honestly if i knew the food was going to be like this i wouldn’t have come, my partner ended up with food poisoning. for food go to Paradise restaurant cafe, really nice food and cheap, a salami pizza costs £2 british. it is a 2 minute walk from the hotel very nice food. The sea is of course lovely but with it being the red sea, be mindfull of sea urchins in the sea where there is coral, as there are quite a lot of them, and there are fish to see in the sea but all of the coral is dead which is really sad
