I already can't rate this hotel highly enough and now they've made even more improvements! I am lucky enough to have stayed at this hotel several times already and the recent improvements will ensure that for me, there will be more visits. Following on from the low of Covid the improvements, which seem to be ongoing, are making "The Palace" a true Palace. The food was better than ever. The Thai restaurant. (I could have lived on the soup alone)! is not to be missed. Just a superbly cooked and presented menu and given the beautiful surroundings and the fabulous balmy temperature of the outside seating area I felt I could have been eating in one of the best restaurants anywhere in the world. Lunch in the Melange I looked forward to everyday. The quality of the food seems to have improved enormously; I had no complaints previously but with this visit the food struck me as the stand out feature. To those that say its repetative and "samey" Id like to ask whats missing? An awful lot of work seems to have been put into the menus everywhere recently and, it seems to an enormous success. The Dome, the centrepiece large buffet restaurant was unfortunately closed for refurbishment. However, nowhere seemed overly crowded and as always service was excellent. The Palace is an older hotel, some of the decor is, or was found to be dated. But the rooms must also be being updated and modernised slowly, as we were offered a renovated room, but not one available yet in the area we like to be in. (another reason to go back) The evening entertainment seems to have improved also. A quiz night, beach party, pool party with the most amazing "fly board" guy on a jet ski in the pool - giving rides which were superb, and of course, the fabulously entertaining resident singer, along with a DJ added at the Piano Bar, made for a busy week. Again, as always, I'm left in no doubt about why I choose The Palace so frequently for my holidays. It is exceptional value for money and just getting better. If you've read a negative review and are worrying - don't! The review says more about the writer than it does about this hotel, it's superb. Just smile, appreciate your surroundings and the staff and you'll also be a repeat visitor in no time.

“Can't wait to return.”

Just returned from a fabulous 3 week holiday at the Makadi Palace. The grounds as always were spectacular and well maintained. Just returned from a fabulous 3 week holiday at the Makadi Palace. The grounds as always were spectacular and well maintained. Since our last visit the food has improved and now there is an excellent choice of food with a new menu at the Thai Rest. All the managers,waiters and staff were brilliant so helpful and really couldn't do enough for us. Renovations are currently taking place and when completed will enhance the overall experience. Can't wait to go back.

We spend 2 wonderful weeks in Makadi Palace with some friends . Regarding beach and sea the coral reef is amaizing, lots of colored nemo fishies, stingray, turtles , etc. At Makadi Palce there are manny pools with free sunn beds , umbrelas and towels, the same at the beach. Rooms very big with living and bedroom, clean, they change towels every day . Each room have big balcony or terase with table and 2 chairs. There is main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but you choose to have lunch on the beach and there is another one near the pool. For dinner you can choose between thai, mediteraneean and dinner buffet. Lots of bars: reception , pool, beach, and in the evening life music, entertainment so you can have a lot of funn. Staff very friendley, helpful and Jhon the manager is all the time eyes wide that everithing to be ok. It's the fifth time spending my holliday at this hotel and defenetly i will be back

The rooms are big and clean,I had really nice view If there is some issues reception or guest relations is always at your service. Definitely I will come back.
