We recently spent five nights at Premier LeReve Hurghada for an autumn sunshine break. The hotel is an adult-only all-inclusive, on a compact beachside site with rooms on three sides, a large main pool in the centre, three smaller pools and a section of beach with a jetty and some interesting marine life for snorkellers. Drinks service around the pool was frequent and generous and done with a smile, and the inevitable hawkers of add-ons were generally not too persistent, with just a few exceptions. The hotel has six restaurants besides the main buffet, of which we tried four (Japanese, Mediterranean, Indian and the showpiece Society restaurant on the top floor). The food was a very high standard throughout, though the Japanese tappenyaki stood out, with the Society (modern European) in second place. The choice in the buffet is very very wide - something for everyone - though that did not mean a dip in quality. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a ‘suite‘ on arrival - this did not mean we got a separate sitting room, but there was a sofa in the room and the size was generous. We opted for the extra ‘VIP’ package, mainly in order to unlock greater ‘no extra charge’ access to the a la carte restaurants (this gave us four visits during our stay, and greater choice, rather than only two and a more restricted choice). The VIP package came with a number of other perks great and small; we got greatest benefit from the very well appointed Executive Lounge, open at all ours for drinks and nibbles (and the best coffee in the place!) There are some comments in other reviews around sunbed availability. We are late risers, and while we weren’t always able to get sunbeds exactly where we wanted them, there was never a day where we couldn’t find a pair side by side somewhere on which to relax. Visiting in October, the temperature was pleasant - high 20s centigrade - though be aware of the wind coming off the coast which can be strong and make it feel colder (and meant that sea swimming was out of bounds on three days out of five). The hotel was able to arrange quick, clean airport transfers for us in smart cars at a very reasonable rate. All in all I’d definitely recommend the Premier LeReve Hurghada for a sunshine break without the kids. We might even get back there ourselves one day, if we can persuade the grandparents…

“Exceptional Hotel and a credit to all the staff and management ”

Fantastic Hotel we stayed for 1 week but will definitely be returning ......from the reception welcome and all the hard working staff that just can't do enough for you , The rooms are spotless ,cleaned everyday The food in all 7 restaurants is top quality The only thing that wasn't available was the Long bar which was closed for refurbishment but all the other bars remained open A big thank you to all the staff and management

“Brilliant time at the hotel”

We stayed in a Jacuzzi Suite which was nice and large with a king size bed. The room with being large had a separate seating area, large flat screen TV and quality furniture. The bathroom which was very large with a jacuzzi bath and a superb separate shower also twin sinks plus toilet and bidet, again wonderful. It was very clean and cleaned every day to a high standard. With us being in a suite it gave us access to the VIP lounge which was wonderful with excellent service and we could eat in the A La Carte restaurants every evening and these also gave wonderful service. All the staff we encountered were very polite and extremely helpful. The hotel and grounds were well maintained and very clean.

We have just returned from another lovely holiday at PLR. The staff at this hotel are amazing, they work so hard are very friendly and the service they provide is second to none. There are too many names to remember everyone but some of the guys who helped make our holiday great with their service and humour at the pool bar and the upstairs bar were Fadi, Adam, Mahmoud, Mohammed, Ahmed Mickey Aka Tom Cruz. Carlos as always did a fabulous job of keeping us hydrated round the pool area. The staff in the main restaurant, especially Dina and the Ossiana restaurant were also great. The food at this hotel as always was amazing, so hats off to all the chefs. There is always such a huge selection to choose from at every sitting and the beef wellington was divine. We have always rated this hotel as 5*, however on this occasion I have rated it as a 4 and the reason for this is there is currently no animation team at the hotel, which did impact slightly on how much we enjoyed our holiday. There was still some entertainment in the evening, some of which was okay but without the animation team there to get people up and involved made the evenings feel a bit flat and the screening of a movie on one evening I would suggest is not suitable entertainment and that should be clear to the management team by the near empty bar that evening. That said Mr F the Operations Manager did tell us that the animation team had recently left and they were looking to hire a new team, so hopefully by the time we return next year normal service will have resumed. There is no need to take Egyptian currency with you as you can use sterling at the airport and at the hotel and the staff gratefully accept £ coins as tips.
