The best holiday we’ve ever been on. Treated like a VIP from start to finish. Still smiling now talking about our holiday three days later. All the staff were so nice and exceptionally good at their individual jobs and it was obvious how well ran the hotel was from the moment we arrived. The reception team couldn’t do enough for you, we forgot to pack adapters and our room (5464) unlike others, didn’t have USB ports. The staff charged our phones up behind reception every day without fuss, always with a smile and a nice English greeting. The young gentleman cleaning the room was also superb. He left swan towels decorations on my partners bed everyday and always asked if there was more he could do. I am ashamed to admit that i forgot to tip him but will tip him double on our next visit when we book for September for two weeks. The food was top quality with so much choice that catered for all nations and cuisines. The gentleman managing the omelette station for breakfast in Alibi stood out as friendly, happy and professional. The Pool and Melody bar stole our hearts the most. The setting was second to none, always with a great buzz and was relaxed yet vibrant. The lifeguards were young lads full of life with time for everyone and great at their jobs making all feel safe and welcome with a fist bump or handshake or greeting. Mohamed (Mo), Ali and the two other lads were a credit to the hotel all week, they made our holiday. Mo in particular was a top class professional who could work easily in any high class bar or hotel in England. A genuine heart of gold who cared about your well-being. My only constructive feedback would be to change or replace the instant coffee machines as they are not fit for purpose. The drinks were either too strong or poorly made and not great. A range of cold ice coffee drinks like iced lattes or iced americano would be a great addition in the mornings when it’s hot. We now plan on making Aqua blu our home away from home and plan to come back twice or three times a year for our work breaks, starting with a fortnight in September to be booked next week. You get a better deal booking direct with the hotel which we plan on doing next time. In Summary, it was the best holiday we’ve ever had, in a top class resort, in a beautiful country with next level professionals doing high standards of work. British holidaymakers are in limbo at the moment, unsure on their next destination after feeling unwanted by Spain and its islands, I encourage you all to give Hurghada and Aqua Blu a try and you’ll come back time and time again. Be respectful to their culture and people and you’ll find you’ll receive the same back and even more. Lovely Holiday. Pro: The shuttle bus took us to the 🏖️ beach and it had a specific area for our hotel with bar included and lovely people asking us what we want. It had a scuba diving area with life guard which was amazing and had vests for swimming too which are very helpful. + 4 life guard on the main beach. Pro: we had by far the best cocktails 🍸 from all hotels we traveled, even better then 5* hotels. The juices were amazing and very they were not watery at all. Pro: plenty of sun lounges and the water park was soo much fun!!! 🤩 Pro: natural juice in the morning and very sweet and consistent. Pro: best cakes from a hotel. Had taste and didn’t felt heavy or too buttery.🍰 Pro: the room was spacious and had Air Condition that helped us keep the temperature ok to be able to sleep in the night. Pro: The coffee was absolutely amazing! We love coffee and I mean good coffee and this was the best we had from all hotels we’ve been travelling along the way. Cons: ⛔️Expecting more fish dishes and better variety for a country were it had the sea right at the front door. Cons:⛔️ The room 5409 needs a refresh asap as some bits were very old and the side lamp was hanging around, the door lock braked. Cons: ⛔️ The breakfast was boring and didn’t had much to choose. The meat was not good and the potatoes were always aldente. Overall we liked it and we will come back and def recommend it to our friends that have children. There is lots to do and we appreciate the extra that was done compared to other countries more popular for vacay then Egypt.
