It was our first time staying at this hotel and we were extremely impressed with the cleanliness, the facilities, the food and the staff attentiveness. Nothing was too much trouble for any staff member. All staff gave the impression that they wanted to help and assist you even if it was just putting a towel on the sunbed. Staff assisted even if the request wasn't part of their 'job role'. There are too many to mention individually although, special thanks to our housekeeper, Sameh, who ensured we had everything we needed and kept our room spotless. After having a chat with Dasha and her finding out about our engagement, she arranged a cake and balloons to our room. We were made to feel very special. The sunbeds at the pool are limited and we're mostly taken and this wasn't the height of the season. The same went for the beach. Sunbeds were rarely available from late morning (I'm not one to rush and put a towel down 🤷) however, we made do and grabbed a few hours on them when we could. We had a fabulous time and will return at some point. Thank you so much to you all. Natasha and Peter

“2 weeks of sheer bliss”

My mother and I just returned from this fabulous hotel after two weeks of sheer bliss. We stayed in a Swim-up Suite, and I've never seen a hotel room so massive – I swear you could play a football match in it if you wanted to. The swim-up actually feels more like a private pool because nobody tends to swim across to your side. We also had a jacuzzi on the terrace, and the housekeeping was more than happy to fill and refill it for you whenever you need. Waiters from the pool bar would always take your orders from across the main pool and bring your drinks through the front door, which was very handy. The towel guy, Karim, would always change our towels and clean the pool without us even noticing. He's an absolute star, the friendliest guy, and he works so hard – he totally deserves a raise! The beach is pristine, and the sea is so calm you can't even hear the waves crashing on the sand. So peaceful. You get bar service on the beach, and those guys need to be tipped constantly because they run around all day. The food is really good, but not just in the à la carte restaurants. The buffet restaurant is truly amazing, with different themed nights and an abundance of food to satisfy any set of tastebuds. There is a whole stand with spices (like you're at a souk) that you can use to spice up your food. There is also the star of the show there, a woman called Nagla, who makes the best Egyptian flatbreads in the oven right in front of you. Her hawawshi are to die for! Nagla, you're a legend, and we love you, girl! Also, shout out to Karim, who serves drinks at the main restaurant! He would always bring exactly what we wanted without even asking. Out of all the à la carte restaurants, we loved the Lebanese one most of all. Plus the "not included in all inclusive" seafood restaurant was incredible and very much worth it! The Italian was pretty solid too, but mostly because of the special service we got there from Mohamed – another legend in the house! He speaks every language, works the bar during the day, and the Italian restaurant in the evening, and he would always treat us like royalty. The hotel has a great spa, where we had fantactic lymphatic drainage massages, but the beauty salon next door to the spa is next level. That's where we had the best facials and pedicures from Sylvia and Donya (we literally wanted to steal the girls and take them with us), an amazing haircut from Bezzem, and the best prices for all of that from Hana. Also, special shout-out to Mohamed at reception, who was always in touch and ready to help with everything – from internet issues to restaurant bookings. The guy is incredible and a bit of a miracle worker! However, not everything about the hotel is rainbows and unicorns, and there is some room for improvement. The air conditioning was stinky (good job we didn’t need it much during cold December nigbts), the front door had to be slammed from the outside, otherwise it wouldn’t close, and the shower area needed more shelves and hooks, as we had to leave toiletries on the floor. The main thing is that the hotel needs to provide better and clearer information about their services. They're somewhat technologically backward, and in our day and age, they just need a swanky app with all the info and the ability for guests to book restaurants. The restaurant booking system is very clunky and always down, and you might need help with it from Mohamed at reception. :) But other than that, we really had the best time, and we're already looking into booking another holiday at this lovely hotel.

“Amazing resort - Top quality and 1st class service”

2nd time to this resort. And same reason applies......it's absolutely amazing. Don't come here to roam about and explore. This is sit back relax eat out of this world food and be looked after.....sahl hasheesh is quiet. Super hotel resort. Superb facilities. All their staff are outstanding. Stayed for a week for wife birthday week. Total relaxation. Great rooms. Clean tidy...and was made up for birthday surprise. Spa good used but a personal choice. Only 2 pools but we loved beach so if a pool fan have a think as sole big pool gets shade late in day. Service is unbelievable. Different and superior class than anything people thing is decent in Europe. Food is quality every night. Ideas BBQ on beach. Singers and entertainment every night. Total r and r for me and wife. Special mentions to Mostafa on beach, Mohamed in cafe bar and al a carte, and Karim in main restuarant. Plus the management guest relations Sara and Dasha who go out their way to walk the floor talk to everyone. Just trying to sort diary for a visit to you again...
