I had very few complaints about this resort! There's always something that's not ideal, but overall I was impressed with this resort. I had very few complaints about this resort! There's always something that's not ideal, but overall I was impressed with this resort. Meals a little disappointing but we had a couple of good ones, and otherwise all the food was acceptable. Excellent entertainment (the Rock Show was spectacular) and nightlife. Lots of Spring Breakers when we visited in March so stay away if you don't like that. I didn't mind, it was nice to see young people having fun and they were friendly and polite, if a little silly and drunk at times. Without them there would be no nightlife for us older folks to join in, so thank you, drunk teenagers! What I didn't like: animation team member approached us with a QR code to scan and asked us to write reviews on our first day. (I declined to do so, I waited until after my vacation to review the resort. I mean really). It made me wonder whether I could trust the reviews I had read. But it turns out I did like the place and am leaving a positive review of my own free will. Another thing I didn't like: the open concept bathroom. Apparently this is common in Punta Cana. It is ridiculous. There is a frosted door in front of the toilet and another one in front of the shower but that is all the privacy you get. The frosted door doesn't even go all the way to the floor. You don't want a friend coming to visit while you're in the toilet - they'll see your knees and toes through the frosted glass. And never mind brushing your teeth while others are sleeping. Whose silly idea is this? Those niggles aside, kudos to the staff for excellent service and clean and comfortable space. I have been to a few resorts in this price range and this is a good one, I recommend it!

A last minute booking to Punta Cana recommended by my travel agent led me to discover the “Much” needed vacation at an incredible resort. My husband and I were celebrating 30 years together and Majestic Colonial provided an amazing week of sun, beach,relaxation and an overall unforgettable week! The hotel was well maintained. Our butler Danny ensured that our stay was everything we were looking for our vacation to be. Our housekeepers; Francesca and Lohanny kept our room tidy every day. Oscar; our favorite waiter and now “friend” ensured our dining experience was EXCELENTE every night; even giving us a decorated table one of our nights which was such a nice surprise! We are already looking to book next year! It was indeed a Majestic vacation.

“Fun place”
Raymond at the hibachi was great! The pool was very nice and wasn’t crowded. The beach was clean and had fantastic white sand. Buffets offered a wide variety of food. Some of the restaurants did not require reservations which was nice. 👍👍👍

The buffet food was average but the restaurant meals were excellent for the most part. We were expecting a stunning beach and beautiful blue water and we were not disappointed. It was gorgeous.
