Visiting the Dominican Republic at lifestyles in Puerto Plata was wonderful. This is a beautiful place. We had a great trip. The concierge made sure we were set up fine in our rooms. Her name is Donailes. We had another concierge with her and his name was Anthony and Anthony made sure we had everything and anything we could possibly need. Also, Anthony was training that week that my cousin and I were there. Anthony is amazing. He took such great care of us and made sure we knew exactly where we were going and took care of us like he was our son. Anthony has a very positive attitude and speaks English perfectly and what an asset to the company he truly is. Whenever I saw him, he had a big smile on his face and came up to me and asked all the time do you need anything? What can I do for you? How can I help. I told him you’re amazing. It’s wonderful here. I’m good thank you. We also met Jose and he was fantastic as well. Always there to help and answer any questions. I took a spa day there I had a massage and a facial by Denia Nunez. She is amazing. She gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had in my life. She knew the perfect amount of pressure to apply to my back. It was so amazing afterwards and I didn’t have any more back pain. After my facial, I almost kissed her because it looked amazing. She knows what she’s doing in that spa. She’s an asset to the company as well. I had a fabulous time at the spa. Thank you so much Denia. She’s very caring and very understanding and what an awesome massage and facial I had with her. The next day of our week stay here many of us went on a wonderful bus trip into the Dominican Republic town to see how coffee and jewelry and crafts were made by the locals. Everything we had seen was so beautifully done and I loved their coffee and the chocolate. The jewelry was fabulous and they had so many crafts there as well. Our tour guides were pretty cool as well. They were. Yody and Luis P. They made the trip so informative as well as fun. They had us all laughing. It was so cool. We had a wonderful time. They are great tour guides and they took us through the beautiful countryside of the Dominican Republic. The beaches are gorgeous here. I 100% recommend lifestyles for your next trip. What a beautiful area in that country in Puerto Plata . Gorgeous and the people were so caring and understanding and helpful. Thank you all.

“Experience”

Jennifer was very helpful in guest services. Others not so much. I paid $30 for 3 days of internet and it hardly worked. The rooms are not clean and there’s baby roaches in the rooms. The buffets are mid, but the restaurants you have to make reservations for are delicious.

The family of 12 stayed at that resort to celebrate my mother-in-law's 85th birthday. When we got to the resort, we noticed that the reception area is under construction, so we were directed to the back of the building. That is when the problems began. First, when we got there my brother-in-law who made the reservations was not there yet so the person doing the admission told us that even though we were paying for the stay she couldn't help us finish the admission until he showed up. Then she proceeded to help someone else. There was a long line for admission and the whole process took hours since everything was done manually. When finally, my brother-in-law showed up the receptionist couldn't help us because we were not placed on a list, and we were told to put our names on the list although were there waiting for my brother-in-law to show. Then when my wife started screaming because we were being ignored by the staff and requested to see the manager about the fact that we were ignored. That is when the staff started paying attention to us. Another reason we got some help was when the bell captain stepped in and the staff knew my brother-in-law who happened to work at that resort when he was a member of the politur. If it wasn't for that we were ready to cancel everything and go someplace else to celebrate her birthday. After that all was well, we enjoyed each day food was good a bit salty for my taste the staff in the resort was great. Thumbs up to Angel in the bar in the VIP area. Am I going back to that resort? Maybe, not sure, the reason for that is because of the first impression that I got in the reception area. First impression is the important impression in a business

The hotel has everything you need. There is a gym, a spa, restaurants, and activities. Just know the type of bracelet they are going to put in your hands. The hotel has everything you need. There is a gym, a spa, restaurants, and activities. Just know the type of bracelet they are going to put in your hands. Different colors will get you different benefits. We had the yellow one and quickly noticed that we had limited access and couldn't enjoy the best of what the hotel has to offer. So, make your reservation accordingly. Also, the hotel is massive. They do offer transportation all day. The buffet was average. I honestly wouldn't recommend the all-inclusive package unless you are planning to drink all day. You better off eating better tasting food at the local restaurants. Overall, you will have a great experience, but that experience will be based on what u pay for.
