I have had several wonderful stays at the Pia Bella, as a solo traveller. The property is a peaceful spot amidst the city. There are two lovely pools, never too busy. Staff are very helpful. In particular a lovely guy in the garden bar, very friendly. I would only stay in the new block, where the rooms are modern, very clean and comfortable. The old block is very dated and smells of smoke. I don’t know how people can complain about the food - I never bothered eating out as I enjoyed the food at the hotel so much. In particular the lovely sandwiches from the garden bar at lunchtime, which come with gorgeous homemade chips. For evening meal, the range is not huge - but this is not some sprawling hotel, it’s perfectly sufficient. There was always something to choose from, and the desserts were lovely too. It would be nice to have a few more fresh fruits variety at breakfast. Wifi is free, throughout the property, although I struggled with it when staying in a city-side room, must have been a bit further from the router. Thank you for another wonderful stay Pia Bella.

Enjoyed our stay at the Pia Bella; lovely room and a very pleasant atmosphere. Great variety of food, felt there was something for all tastes. Great selection of salads and wonderful omelettes. The staff were very solicitous and helpful when my husband was taken I’ll early in our stay and very concerned for him when he returned from hospital. Thank you for your concern. I have one small quibble. The lighted wardrobe rail (a brilliant idea) was almost too high to reach, as was the door hook in the bathroom; and I am above average height for a woman. An example of things being designed by men without thinking of womens’ needs. But generally a good stay in difficult circumstances for us.

“Nice place to stay, just on edge of town.”

Nice place with great rooms in the new building. We was there during the heatwave and spent a lot more time round the pool than we would normally in TRNC. Great, helpful, staff across the whole site. We did get a room in the front of the old building that we had to swap as it was too noisy at night… more

Nice place with great rooms in the new building. We was there during the heatwave and spent a lot more time round the pool than we would normally in TRNC. Great, helpful, staff across the whole site. We did get a room in the front of the old building that we had to swap as it was too noisy at night, but that was swiftly dealt with and we soon had a nice room in the new block. Food was very good and plenty of things to choose from. Pools clean and well kept and we did get a sunbed on the days we was round the pool. Walk into town took us 20min, so we was able to take a after dinner walk into town for a couple of drinks then back. Hotel evening entertainment was low, but it was not really "in season".

“An adequate week at Pia Bella .”

Just returned from a week in Pia Bella , Half board . Deluxe bedrooms clean and comfortable and worth the extra cost . Just returned from a week in Pia Bella , Half board . Deluxe bedrooms clean and comfortable and worth the extra cost . Breakfast was adequate especially if you like eggs , which fortunately we did !!! Evening meals poor , limited freshly cooked meat or fish . The one night i had fish it smelt absolutely awful and thank goodness did not eat it . Nightly pasta dish was adequate , as was the hot rice . Salads were adequate . No pizza's , burgers or chicken nuggets ( not food i would normally eat but sometimes needs must !!!) not even any kebabs !!!! Desserts sickly , no ice-cream , which is cheap to supply. Fresh fruit selection very limited , melon, melon and more melon , apples ( old ) and oranges . Lovely swimming pool and grounds beautifully kept . Position is not great 20 minute walk along a busy main to Kyrenia , very little around the hotel in the evening rather disappointing as limited evening entertainment in the hotel . Generally enjoyed our holiday, as weather was excellent, bar and waiter staff were friendly but would not stay in this hotel again due to position and food . Most were repeat customers that felt overall the standard had dropped over the years .
