From the moment we stepped in the foyer we were greeted by a lovely welcome. Easy check in and off to the room. We asked for a high floor and that’s what we got. Room 419. Beautiful sea view plus pool view too. That room was immaculate and clean. Lovely white crisp linen. Bathrobes, slippers “ Which we didn’t use”. Nice white bath and hand towels. The complimentary shower/hair/wash gel were a lovely gesture, in fact didn’t use the ones we brought. We also received wine and fruit. The food at this hotel is 5 star. From breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus Al a carte very nice. It’s lovely to be waited on but nothing wrong with the food in the restaurant. And hot too. Loved the hot water geezer in a morning for our cuppa tea at breakfast. Fresh orange too. The choice is incredible, honestly. We came quite a few years ago and noticed the rooms have been upgraded to a high standard. Bed changed every other day, towels whenever you wanted too. Tea, coffee etc filled up every day. Free safe too. Entertainment very good. Something on every night from top acts, saxophonists, singers, dancers and occasional quiz. Plus “Silent disco” never seen before but hilarious. GED and his gang work really hard. We went all inclusive and wow those drinks were strong had to ask for weaker ones from the waiters. In the end they got them just right for us. The staff at this hotel work extremely hard and nothing is too much trouble. They really go out of their way. You never have to wait for a drink. Those boys at the pool through the day constantly asking if you want one. You don’t need to go to the bar at all. Too many fantastic staff to mention but couple that we clicked with the most were, Betty, Ali, Deepak and Agnes, but honestly every single one of them were equally as hard working. We returned to the Atlantica Bay Hotel for a two week holiday in October and were not disappointment. This remains an excellent hotel, with great facilities, good food (both quality and options) and first class staff. It is the Atlantica staff that make this hotel so special - they are helpful, friendly and very attentive and go the extra mile to ensure that guests have a fabulous holiday. The hotel is located in a quiet area some 8 miles from Limassol old town, but there is a regular and cheap bus service from outside the hotel. Alternatively, it is a lovely walk mostly along the coast with lovely sea views. A few shops and bars are within a short walk of the hotel - these include the Sands Bar overlooking the sea, which is operated by Atlantica but is not part of the all inclusive option (discounts apply though). From 2025 the Atlantica Bay will no longer be part of the TUI Blue brand and we believe that there will be reduced TUI staff presence there, with the entertainment being organised by an Atlantica team. If Atlantica's same approach to service provision and customer care remains (we have no doubt it will!) then there will be nothing to worry about and potentially things will only get better! We will be back.

Before we came here in full honesty we were a little apprehensive having read some of the reviews. However, the Atlantica Bay has in fact exceeded our expectations in all areas and we had an amazing relaxing holiday Service: The people here go above and beyond, always offering friendly and attentive service. Especially the waiters around the pool you literally get your drinker topped up every 15 minutes without moving an inch. Every member of staff we encountered was very friendly and clearly enjoyed their job Food: We were a little worried with there being only 1 ala carte and a buffet. However do not worry the food quality here is exceptionally high and in a 7 night stay we literally did not eat the same thing twice in any meal. Great range of choices. Entertainment: This hotel does entertainment to the max, Ged and his team work so hard with loads of entertainment available throughout the day there is something for everyone. They also do not pressure or pester you if you dont wish to take part which is refreshing. Location: I would suggest those moaning about the location of the hotel do their research. There is plenty nearby a short 15-20 minute walk takes you to some amazing ancient ruins. 5 minute walk takes you to a super market, 15 minutes in the other direction takes you to a lovely harbour and blue flag beach. And a 25 minute ride on a bus which runs every 15 minutes takes you to central Limassol and the old town. Facilities: Nice and modern and well maintained, additionally we saw reviews of people describing the grounds of the hotel as grey concrete. I feel like these people were stopping in a different hotel because the hotel has plenty of lovely green areas especially around the pool Just one other thing to mention we were a little worried about the amount of cats mentioned in the reviews. These are clean, well looked after and leave you alone unless you invite them to you.

We have recently returned from a week all inclusive at the Atlantica Bay hotel in late October 2024. LOBBY BAR/ LOBBY TERRACE The lobby is beautifully decorated and is open plan, it is a very welcoming area with lots of comfortable seating. The lobby terrace is where a majority of the entertainment is held. The view overlooking the sea and the pool is beautiful and there is plenty of seating outside. POOL The hotel has two pools and the pool area is well maintained and clean. We only used the pool once as it was freezing due to it being October! There were a lot of sun loungers and most were empty (again as we were there in October this may not be a true reflection during the summer months). There are also comfortable seating areas around the pool for those who do not wish to use sun loungers. CATS There are a number of stray cats roaming around the hotel outside areas. They are looked after by the hotel staff and the cats don’t tend to bother you unless you fuss them. STAFF It is clear all of the staff at the hotel work very hard. A special mention to Agnes who worked in the lobby bar/lobby terrace she made our experience at the Atlantica Bay even more enjoyable! ROOM/CLEANLINESS We had a partial sea view room and it was very well presented and clean. The decor was neutral and light and airy. The room was cleaned daily, towels were replaced regularly and the mini bar was stocked daily. Apples and a bottle of red wine were also in the room on arrival which was a nice touch as we arrived late at night. The hotel is very well kept and clean. The staff in the dining room are very efficient and remove used plates very quickly (sometimes too quickly as on one occasion my husband hadn’t quite finished his dinner! 🤣). ACTIVITIES/ENTERTAINMENT The TUI blue team led by Ged work very hard to provide entertainment for guests. There are plenty of activities throughout the day such as aqua dance, pool games, souvenir making. In the evening there were singers, a Blue brother’s tribute act (who were great) and also a silent disco. We did enjoy the evening entertainment but it could get a bit repetitive. FOOD/DRINK The choice of drinks included in the All inclusive were good. My husband and I had no issue finding drinks to try. The red wine was quite disappointing (and I am partial to a red wine) but the rosé was a nice alternative. The drinks list had lots of choice and then there were others you could pay for which had a discount for All inclusive guests. The food was good and there was a wide variety of items to choose from, as a vegetarian I had no issues finding foods to try. All the of the food was clearly labelled to show allergen/dietary information. One thing about the restaurant that we didn’t enjoy that much is that the tables in places are quite close together and in even quiet times the staff would seat you close to another table. Towards the end of our holiday we would ask to sit on a different table, but this is personal preference and other guests may not mind this! 😊 TIPS/INFO: - Book the culinarium early as it gets very busy - Pool towels are provided by the hotel - There is a hairdryer in the room - There are USB charging points in the room and UK plug points. - There is shower gel provided in the room - We paid for a late check out room as our flight home was at 23.30hrs but, I have been told you can book to use the shower in the Spa. - There is a local bus (No.30) which for €2 (per person, each way) you can catch to Limassol. The bus stop is on the main road directly in front of the hotel and you can get dropped off in Limassol marina (definitely worth the visit!). Overall we would recommend the hotel for those who wish to come and relax. It’s in a quiet location and we did leave saying we enjoyed our stay.
