Very happy with this hotel. We have stayed there the last 3 years, always in June. We always book a suite (snorer!) and it’s a great size. The room’s lovely; bright, clean, spacious and well kept. We’ve always had a good view, first year overlooking the strip, and with a sea view, and the last 2 years overlooking the pool, although from the room (4207) you also get a sea view. I’m sure it’s a coincidence but we actually had the same room for the last 2 years! Would highly recommend the adults only pool if you don’t have children, the main pool is heaving, and very noisy! Plus, staff at the bar there are great, big thumbs up to them for making us feel welcome!! The strip is very noisy but you can’t hear it in the rooms at night as the double/triple glazing is so good. Breakfast is very good, great choice, but can’t comment on dinner or all inclusive package as we only ever go bed and breakfast. There’s way too many bars and restaurants on the strip to limit yourself to the same place to eat and drink every night. Note to hotel, a drinks package for non all inclusive guests might be an option to consider. Would thoroughly recommend!

The hotel is immaculate and well run. It’s much bigger than it looks and offers good facilities. It’s right on the strip for the evening and five minutes to the beach. The pool is lovely with lots of sun loungers and parasols which you definitely need! The restaurant was good; the food wasn’t as hot as I’d have liked and if you have children not a lot of choice. But overall tasty and good quality.

Myself, my Husband & our 11 year old son (along with my Parents in a seperate room) have just returned from a 2 week stay, all inclusive in room 2312 which we booked as an inland deluxe double room. The Tui transfer from the airport took 1 hour & 20 mins, we were the 5th & final drop, not an issue for us as we arrived at the hotel for 5pm and didn't have any really small children with us but maybe consider a private taxi transfer if you want to arrive quickly if your flight is later. The welcome we received at check in was polite, friendly and quick. We received a QR code to download the hotel app which has loads of information about the restaurants, bars, room service, spa treatments, local area and entertainment each day & night, plus the WIFI password which was quick and worked well for all our stay. A lovely porter named Uygar took us and our cases to our room which was located across the driveway in a separate block from reception. We felt this worked well for us as it was quick to get back to our room on a night from the strip and only a minutes walk to the pool. He kindly showed us how to use the safe, air con & various buttons to request a clean. You didn't have to use these buttons but helped the cleaner to know if to disturb you or not. The room was absolutely spotless, modern and spacious. We had 2 big bottles of water and some fruit in our room and we kept these bottles and refilled them daily at the ice cold water station near the pool bar. The view was absolutely breathtaking and I'm not sure if we were kindly upgraded to sea view or if this is "inland" but wow. We could watch the sunrise from bed so I'd highly recommend this room. The rooms were cleaned daily. Beds were made or changed, bins emptied, bath & hand towels changed, floors swept and mopped. A lovely refresh. The air con was a treat after been out in the red hot sun. The beds were really comfortable & the shower was powerful with an overhead shower & hand held one too. 2 sinks were perfect for our family of 3. We were given 2 room cards and a pool towel card each, which we exchanged for towels at the spa and we could swap these on Monday, Wednesday & Friday. The pool area was lovely! We loved chilling out on the bench in the pool and got chattting to people from all over! Loads of sunbeds, ladder access only but very shallow in some parts (only 2 short steps down) and the deepest part of the pool, my son who is 5 foot could easily stand with his shoulders just under water. The little splash pad for the kids was fun with a slide and water fountain. We didn't use the 18+ pool but it looked lovely and peaceful with lovely day beds with thick cushioned loungers. The pool bar was great. Soft & alcoholic drinks plus yummy milkshakes and icecreams. The snack bar located near the 18+ pool (with access from the main pool area too) was good. They did toasties, sandwiches, salads, burgers, pizza & chips plus drinks. The spa is a lovely relaxing area but that pool is FREEZING! especially with the air con on too. My son went in for a matter of seconds but didn't see anyone else using it. They also offer discount on treatments and have a steam room & gym. The main restaurant is a lovely area you can choose to sit inside or outside on the balcony over looking the pool which we often did at lunch, there was a lovely breeze and its shaded. Needing a table of 5, we were nearly always seated immediately. Only a couple of times did we have to wait a few minutes. OK so here's one of my only complaints. The food. For a 4 star hotel this could be much better. Non of it was hardly ever warm unless you were lucky enough to choose from a fresh tray. There are theme nights but we felt non of these were really followed, it was all really the same. I think a 2 week varied menu rather than 1 week would be better as we did get bored with the food so ate out on a few occasions. Also, the drinks. I've never been anywhere abroad where Malibu or a coconut liqueur wasn't an option on the all inclusive which I found strange! The beer also goes very flat very quick so drink fast! Everyone gets 1 evening in the Hotel's A La Carte restaurant "Robola" this was, by far, our favourite meal. The restaurant is really lovely, service was amazing and the food and wine were beautiful. You get a choice of 3 courses with lots of options. Soups, starters, salads, mains, deserts & options for the kids. We used this on our last night and it ended our holiday perfectly. The entertainment team were FANTASTIC. My son absolutely loved Valentino, he's great with everyone and you can tell he loves his job (and performing magic, keep that up! 🌟) The ladies were so lovely and engaging too. During the day there was always something going on and they came round (without been pushy) to ask if you wanted to take part. Mornings usually started with yoga or stretching in the garden followed by badminton or ping-pong at around 11am. Aquaerobics before lunch was fun to watch or take part in with loud music in the main pool. In the afternoon there was archery or darts then water polo or water volleyball. The evening entertainment, considering how close to the strip you are and most hotels wouldn't bother for this reason, was brilliant. We saw Michael Buble (what a voice!) a fire show, Michael Jackson (amazing) Cyprus night, a fantastic dancing show- these girls were fab! A parrot show, bingo, quizzes, karaoke. Thursday is the teams well earned rest day. All staff were so polite and friendly. Every single time I said thankyou it was followed with a genuine "you're welcome, enjoy" a huge mention and thankyou must go to ELENI. This girl is an absolute gem and credit to your hotel. She will go far. We were so happy that she was serving us in Robola on our last night after taking our drinks order all holiday. Such a kind, genuine person. She spoke to us at length as we were leaving and is just so lovely. Thankyou Eleni. All staff were great, I wish I had taken note of all of your names to give you a mention! The location is absolutely spot on. Right in the middle of the strip which is packed full of bars, restaurants, shops, a bus stop just outside to venture further and the beach is about a 3 minute walk (there's a walkway across from the Amarena cafe Or cut through the Sunrise Beach Hotel reception, down 1 floor in the lift and you're on beach level out the back door) just behind the hotel is a lidl & the Luna Park fun fair. The whole strip at a fast pace walk took me & Hubby approximately 20 minutes from Ripples to Folio. We didn't make it round all the bars in our fortnight but I'm sure someone could give it a good go! There must be well over 50 bars and restaurants! Amazing place, all flat so easy to stroll around. My Mum has mobility issues and it was perfect for her. Our favourite bar on the strip was Waves. Lovely atmosphere, comfortable seating, very clean & a payment system that's run very efficiently. We had some lovely food in Teejays over the road, which was very reasonably priced- €80 for 5 mains, 4 alcoholic drinks & 1 soft drink. Staff are really friendly in here and the portions were huge! The food in Fools & Horses was also lovely. We did a very memorable boat trip on "St Georgios ll" stunning views, knowledgeable staff, a very clean, big, modern boat with plenty of seating. Air con inside downstairs. We had a couple of swim stops, 1 with turtles & a beautiful meal with a drink. €30 per adult & €15 for under 12s. The beaches in Protaras are absolutely stunning. We went to Sunrise Beach which is long and had lots of sunbeds & umbrellas at €2.50 per item. We also went to Fig Tree Bay which is much smaller but the sea is calmer and like bath water. You could see all the little fish swimming around you. Beautiful. The Boardwalk is lovely for a stroll, I'm not sure how far it goes but you could wander for ages with the sea at one side of you and hotels, bars & restaurants at the other. We took the 102 bus for €1.50 per adult and 75cents for children to Ayia Napa Sculpture park for sunset. It was free to enter and a lovely way to spend an hour. My advise would be to go very early in the morning or at sunset. Its a very high up, open area with beautiful views but I can imagine the heat would be unbearable during the day. Take a drink, and wear something comfortable on your feet as the footpath is just rocks & sand. There's the odd water fountain. We had a drink at Evinos Taverna next door then got the 101 bus back to Protaras. It took around 20 minutes each way. This was our 1st holiday in Protaras, our 3rd in Cyprus having previously visited Paphos in 2022 and Ayia Napa on 2023 and I can say hand on heart this was my absolute favourite part of Cyprus. There's something for everyone. We loved it and we will be back.
