We had an amazing stay in one of the penthouse suites. It's a modern and clean room with an amazing view on the beach and the sunset. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Sunbeds by the pool are limited, but the hotel has direct access to the beach where there were lots of sunbeds and umbrellas available for just 2,50 euro each. The hotel is situated just outside the lively center of Ayia Napa with lots of nice restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Hotel itself is very quiet at night, which we loved. Lots of parking space in front of the hotel. We absolutely loved the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of this adults only hotel. Would definitely recommend!

When we booked our holiday, we chose the Tasia Maris Sands hotel on the basis of the complimentary reviews, and I have to say, it was a great choice. There is so much to love about it! When we arrived, Georgia on reception was so welcoming and friendly. It was a late arrival but the hotel team had prepared a snack box of sandwiches and crisps for us. We stayed in one of the 6th floor penthouse rooms and were also greeted by a bottle of champagne and platter of fruits. Both really nice touches. The contemporary design of the hotel and rooms gives it a chic and instantly relaxing vibe. The view of Sandy Bay beach from the penthouse rooms is absolutely stunning and watching the beautiful sunset from the balcony is a real highlight. The housekeepers clean the rooms spotlessly on a daily basis, and the same can be said for the rest of the hotel. Beds and pillows are really comfy and we were not woken up by any noisy neighbours that other reviews have mentioned. We were all inclusive and made the most of the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Whilst there is only one restaurant, the choice is plentiful, differs from one day to the next, and is really tasty. Wide selection of meats and everyone must try the chocolate cake too! There is a separate drinks menu for those on the all inclusive package but again, there was enough choice of cocktails/spirits/soft drinks that we didn't feel the need to deviate to the more extensive menu of drinks for an additional cost. They don't scrimp on the alcohol either! The pool and the area surrounding it is quite small which does make reserving one of the sun loungers or daybeds a challenge (some are reserving with towels as early as 04:00!) Only half of the daybeds are shaded with a roof cover too. However, the hotel backs onto Sandy Bay beach where there is no shortage of sun loungers and parasols. These do not belong to the hotel so there is a charge to use them (2.50 euros for a sun lounger and 2.50 euros for a parasol). Importantly, you are also still close enough to pop back to the hotel to top up your drinks! Plus, there are ladies on the beach offering a variety of massages for a reasonable price (40 euros for an hour). Watersports are also available. Nissi beach is a 10 minute walk away, although is much busier than Sandy Bay. If you want to venture a little further afield, Ayia Napa is within walking distance or alternatively you can catch a cheap bus ride (ask reception for a timetable). The same bus will also take you to Protaras which is 45 minutes away and is where you can visit the very beautiful Fig Tree Bay. There isn't any evening entertainment at the hotel as such but the bar and seating adjacent to the pool is open until 23:00. Plus, there are plenty of bars if you head out into Ayia Napa - ask the staff for recommendations. That is the practical stuff, but what really makes this hotel stand out are the staff. Compared to some of the larger Tui Blu hotels I have stayed in before, they have a relatively small close knit group of people working in the front facing areas. This meant that even over a week, we felt like we got to know some of them well and vice versa. All staff members we met were friendly, attentive, helpful and clearly work incredibly hard but special mention to Antri, Salima, Panikos, Bride, Kostas and Erada x Would love to visit again in the future, and I hope that anyone who chooses to stay at the Tasia Maris Sands hotel enjoys it as much as we did.

Staff are the friendliest I've encounterd. They are really attentive to every persons needs and are always happy to help! Hotel is really clean, tidy and in an ideal location from the beach and main shops etc. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Cyprus for an adult relaxing getaway

Very nice hotel with lovely staff. We had all inclusive and were very happy with what was included! Food was good and the pool with sun beds was so nice, especially since it was so close to the beach, you could go between them as you wished and the sea breeze could be felt by the pool as well. In general the staff was friendly and helpful, the receptionists were especially great. The room was nice and modern and the water bottle and coffee was restocked daily if you woke up before breakfast opened. The food was really good and there was always a mix between Cyprian dishes and something more familiar. The meat was always excellent (and this is coming from people who usually don’t eat that much meat but the chefs really knew what they were doing). The only thing that brings the rating down to a four star from a five is that for two days there was a man in the bar who had some (what we consider) sexist views and interactions. He would say things like “when you come to my bar you need to smile if you want your drink” even though we ordered from another bartender and smiled when we ordered from him. He also had this bit where he would suggest how much he would pay my mother to marry me. It might have been meant as a complement from him but it made us uncomfortable as we don’t think a woman or girl is for sale. Oh and sometimes they would give you sprite even though you ordered a lemonade ¯_(ツ)_/¯. All in all we had a great time and would definitely come back!
