We stayed at the Silver Sands for 2 weeks from 2/10. I got married at the Constantinos the Great on 7th October but we decided to stay at silver sands with 30+ of our guests as we didn't want our guest to have to pay out alot of money . After reading the bad reviews I was really worried about staying here. Well what can I say we arrived about 8pm the reception staff were really nice and we got in our room within minutes. Our room was on the 5th floor we had a walk in shower very clean bathroom and bedroom was lovely and clean. The food at the hotel was really good plenty of choice very clean restaurant and the table was cleared and cleaned as soon as you had finished eating, the staff were so friendly and polite especially Yvonne and Hope!! The pool area was very clean and there was a grass area to sunbathe the beach was just seconds to walk from here. Costas was great in the pool bar and often gave us a few free shots !! I had asked for low floor for my parents in their 80's and they were given a nice room on the first floor right next to the lift!! The beds were made and we had clean bedding most days and we also had clean towels every day! You can use the hotels towels for sunbathing for 10 euro which was refunded when the towels were returned! Lucy on the reception was lovely and always helpful! Makis was great too in the bar in the hotel!! This hotel is in a great location a minutes from the main strip !! What I want to say is this is a 3 star hotel and not 5 star that is why it is so cheap to stay! We were told they were upgrading so many rooms in the hotel each year and it seemed the walk in shower rooms were better! All of our guests were happy with their rooms and their stay and I will definitely be returning!

The hotel is in a prime location right on the sea front and in the main strip. Great variety of bars/restaurants on the strip, too The hotel has changed a lot since we last came. The towels and bedding are changed every 3rd day. They empty the bins and clean the toilet every day. However, we had to make our bed most days when we got back. Check-in was very quick, and Mariaannia always had a smile while on reception, and Madga, the manager, was on hand to deal with any issues that you might have. She remembered us from last time and was pleased we went back, which was nice. We had a front sea view room, which was amazing worth asking for one and paying the extra. The room was basic, which could do with more storage space for your clothes. The bathroom needs up grading to, small over the bath shower attachment, which flooded the bathroom every day. The bed was really comfortable to sleep on. The room was spacious. It had a fridge, kettle, and condiments stocked up every day. You need to buy bottles of water and milk. Our only negative factor was the food it was either Luke warm or cold, no matter what time you go down. Breakfast was the better meal. The staff worked hard to maintain tables are cleaned, and chefs do a good job as well. Sunbeds were not an issue. Plenty of them, apart from the padded ones around the pool, the towel fairy, is out during the early hours. On the whole, we had a great holiday and a shout out to Makis, the bar man who remembers what drinks you want,also he's very chatty and funny. The staff are great, nothing is too much trouble ,wanting to make your holiday a good experience. Would we return to silversands Beach Hotel again 🤔 yes if it's refurbished and the food is hotter.

We stayed in the Silver Sands for a week in October. Great location . Rooms ok , balcony small but has sea view. Overall hotel was average , but tired and verging on dirty. Some lovely staff , but a good few need to try harder and remember you are working in the holiday business (especially the young man at the restaurant he never cracked a smile or spoke the whole week, must try harder). You won’t starve here, breakfast is decent , but dinner is a bit miss matched and on the cold side. Pool area tired and a lot of broken sun beds. Overall we had a good holiday it’s a shame the hotel was average, definitely come back to the area maybe just not Silver Sands.
