Absolutely lovely hotel from The location, food and staff it was all fabulous! After reading some reviews before our holiday I was afraid of the sun bed situation and unfortunately at the beginning of our holiday the reviews were right, people were up from around 6am reserving sunbeds which was ridiculous! After around 4 days of our holiday we noticed a sign go up by management regarding this and for the last couple of days things did change and sunbeds were still free around 9am! I would suggest if booking this hotel to opt for a balcony, the first room we were put in was above the club in the hotel and it was extremely loud until very early hours, was impossible to sleep! I would like to say though when we brought this to the teams attention they were very quick to sort out another room for us and then when we decided to pay a little extra and upgrade to a room with a balcony further away from the club they were able to accommodate! The beds were out of this world, massive and one of the comfiest I have ever stayed in. The selection for breakfast is incredible, we only did B&B as we like to go out every night. However we did try the restaurants attached to the hotel and they were some of the best food that we had on the whole holiday. When we return to Ayia Napa, we will 100% be coming back to this hotel!

“Wonderful hotel in a great location”

Just back from a lovely weeks stay at this hotel. Can’t fault anything, the hotel is beautiful, great pool, wonderful food and friendly helpful staff. Andry went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. Hope to visit again next year!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Very kind ladies at the reception, taking the extra step to help out. Interior and first appearance were very good. Its a classy style. We had a clean room, and the room was large enough. We did not book special views, so no opinion on that. Breakfast was nice, good variety. As Dutchies would have preferred fresher bread. Roomwise, wifi is a little slow and the towel drama at the swimmingpool is not my cup of tea. But overall, would stay here again. The hotel has a perfect location for going anywhere in Ayia Napa and there are plenty of parking spots for rented cars/ quads. For some birthday suprises the staff helped me out brilliant, and the birthday cake was very tastefull and on time.

The hotel has a really lovely atmosphere. Tranquil and relaxing. We chose this hotel due to the lounge area near the pool and bar as we prefer to sit in a chill environment opposed to a hotel with entertainment. On arrival we were shown our room. There were two paper bags each with a sandwich, apple and a carton of juice. This was a nice touch but have had better in other hotels. The room was dated, as other guests have said. There was a funny, chemical smell in our room, the wooden furniture was blown from the condensation and the bath really needs to be replaced with a shower. Air-conditioning worked well and rooms were cleaned to an acceptable standard daily. Only niggles were the balcony was not swept so sand from the beach was there for our entire stay and mirrors were not wiped down. Our first night was peaceful, but the following night and then for the next four nights we had some very load neighbourhoods who were next to us and directly opposite. They were going out at 2am shouting and coming back crashing furniture, being sick, shouting and on one evening howling like wolves. I reported this to guest relations on the first night who took the room numbers, but nothing changed. Luckily, they went home after the fourth night, and we just slept in the sun bed through the day. We were all inclusive and cannot complain about the quality of the food and drinks. The three restaurants were absolutely amazing, Pepper bar being our favourite. In the hotel the cocktails were superb, however, the service was slow and took us a while to change from the quick service expected in the UK to the chilled environment of the Soma Lounge. We did feel that guests who were paying received a better service than those who were all inclusive. They were served quicker, more frequently and with a more friendly manner. I found this annoying as we were still paying, but we had just prepaid. It felt like the staff had the opinion that we were not worthy of the same level of service. Sunbeds were not an issue during our stay, there were still many available at 9am. Obviously the best positions around the pool had been reserved with towels, but we didn’t mind. As we entered the second week of our holiday, we noticed a change over of guest which changed the sunbed reservation dynamics and people began to reserve sunbed between 6-7am. If you went out in the morning you were unlikely to get a sunbed on your return. The food in Cloistesr was always delicious. Staff in the restaurant were friendly and often remembered what drink you were having with your meal. We were only ever offered one but had usually finished our meal and returned to the Soma Lounge for another. The surrounding area was pleasant, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Some enjoyable excursions and the beaches are stunning! I am glad we chose this hotel as it was right in the middle of everything and a beautiful, peaceful oasis inside. I am not sure that we would return to Ayia Napa again as we prefer to visit different places, and it was too hot for us in August which is when we prefer to holiday.
