“Roc Barlovento”
Hotel Barlovento is the perfect in Varadero for visitor who want beach AND to be in the centre of town. Warm and friendly staff. A favorite of Canadians. I always feel like I'm part of the family when I stay here. The bathrooms are clean but could do with an update.

“10 times Roc Barlovento”
I love the Roc Barlovento the staff are amazing people You ask and ready to help. I never miss anything for food. Animation they are great The reception is good The bar they always with the smile The show is good nice dance and costumes I love the Roc Barlovento

“The beach is beautiful too”
We arrived here yesterday and were welcomed with smiling friendly faces. This is our first time here and everything has been wonderful. Great food and rum punch!! We will return. If you get a chance to check this place out, I suggest you do so. Enjoy like we did.

“Our second home!”
We have been coming to this resort for many years and this is our second home. We love the staff and management. The beach and pool are amazing! Always friendly staff at the bar and the service is top notch! The entertainment is always fun! The restaurant are always great!

“Home Again”
This was our 10th stay . While the hotel is having some issues with hot water , this is being resolved . The staff are remarkable and do everything they can with what they have available . This was our 10th stay . While the hotel is having some issues with hot water , this is being resolved . The staff are remarkable and do everything they can with what they have available . Yusett at the lobby bar is always a bright ray of sunshine and laughter . Lia, Yoarki, Josef , Joel , Margarita , Ernesto , Miguel , Hilda , Jose , Dianelys, Yuleni, Yuniel, Marlon , Junior - all are exceptional in friendliness and service with a smile . They always make us feel valued and at home in our home away from home . The buffet staff are always attentive and friendly . Food was a bit less than we are used to here but we didn't go hungry . There's always something to eat . Our room was clean and comfortable and we did have hot water at some point on most days in our three week stay , this was being improved while we were there . New furniture for the lobby , courtyard and stage area arrived a few days before we left - great improvement . Canada Day on Thursdays are wonderful as are Cuba Days on Fridays .
