“Good place to experience being Cuban”
Hotel Oasis is a wonderful little place to experience what life is like as a Cuban. Mostly Cuban nationals were here when I was staying at this property, but they were very friendly and enjoyed meeting Canadians. Hotel Oasis is a wonderful little place to experience what life is like as a Cuban. Mostly Cuban nationals were here when I was staying at this property, but they were very friendly and enjoyed meeting Canadians. Food was very good and very Cuban at the restaurant, service was excellent. Beer was cold, Espresso was hot and the bar tenders great. Front Desk staff personable and helpful and the hotel staff seemed genuinely happy to see us. A quick ride from the airport. The beach was not too great but that was Hurricane Matthew's fault and not the hotel. Rooms were clean, the washrooms functioned and the room featured huge balconies. Furniture was Cuban, old and not as comfortable as it could be, but that just added to the charm.
