“In need of maintanence but it is in a great location and the staff bent over backwards to make us comfortable.”

I had a large group of 16 staying here and the staff was fantastic. Much better than many of the staff in larger and fancier hotels. The foods was also very good and again the staff was terrific. This is "Cuban"hotel and frequently has Cuban pro league athletes staying there. It can be a little loud in the hall ways and sometimes from the noise off the street. The rooms are adequate if a little crowded but the beds were comfortable and everything worked which is not often the case in this level of hotel. The air conditioner was loud and lacked some parts but it worked, boy it worked, I had to use two blankets and was comfortable. And that said the staff made it pleasant and I would go back to this hotel in a minute.

Stayed for 2 weeks. Room clean, decent breakfast of eggs, small pancakes, local fruit, and a breads, and other items. There is a lot of construction going on across the street, which is fairly noisy, and a night club across the side street which also provides loud music late at night, but the in window air conditioner helps to drown out.
