this hotel has really exceed my expectations , first of all just to clarify for the budget I had and spend in Croatia , I was expecting to find a really bad hotel but not , I stayed in Croatia 3 days in pical from 22th September in room 247 the reception first impression was really impressive big ,shiny fair enough.Receptionist were polite , explaining everything and showing the hotel around and give us a welcome with and amazing cold plate filled with ham,cheese,fruits and vegetables , so amazed .it is true that when you are going to the rooms , the corridors seems a bit older even the room very ancient style could be a bit updated but for me was good enough , rooms was cleaned ,spacious with views to the beach ,big pool but couldn't use it due to the weather conditions but my 10/10 stars if for the restaurant really range of food variety breakfast is really complete and chefs they are all kind ,three days eating during the evening and all of them really different and delicious food.well done to the restaurant I am coming from London and I can say not even in the restaurants contains as much good food as the pical sunny hotel does . thank you very much for all. great stay

“Brilliant”
Just arrived home from pical sunny and WOW what a lovely hotel. Yes its a 2 star but this is mainly for cosmetic reasons as its slightly dated. Our opinion is you cant knock it for the money the rooms are lovely with most looking over magnificent views over the sea and porec old town. Only 4 minut… more
Just arrived home from pical sunny and WOW what a lovely hotel. Yes its a 2 star but this is mainly for cosmetic reasons as its slightly dated. Our opinion is you cant knock it for the money the rooms are lovely with most looking over magnificent views over the sea and porec old town. Only 4 minutes stroll to the pebbly beach which is spotless and 15 minute stroll into porec old town which is a lovely walk. The hotel is spotless all the staff are lovely but the main plus was the food. WOW a 2 star hotel that serves 4 star food my girlfriend is vegetarian and can struggle with food abroad but in the pical the food was immense we never ate out once and i as a non vegetarian was blown away with the variety and quality. If i was to be picky the hotel is dated and that is it but it didnt bother us as everything else is top notch and we would definately go back. Thankyou pical sunny weve had a lovely week. Ps the food pics are just my missus vegetarian meals my meat dishes were immense usually usually getting up for 4 platefuls lol. Thanks again pical sunny.

“Great location”
Location is the best over looking the porec beach. Dinner and breakfast twas good just the room and balcony is a bit old and the balcony on our room is not safe with our toddlers with a big gap in both corners. For 2 star hotel is better. When we come on our room we didnt expect that Didnt clean it… more

Dinner and breakfast twas good just the room and balcony is a bit old and the balcony on our room is not safe with our toddlers with a big gap in both corners. For 2 star hotel is better. When we come on our room we didnt expect that Didnt clean it maybe the cleaning lady missed to clean the toilet bowl poop on it we tried to flush it but didnt flush it. I think someone come in and used the room a bit and decide to move out on that room then nobody check it before they put us in. But reception did a good job she take care the issue really well.

“Not a good visit”
This hotel is closing next week to be demolished and replaced. However this is no excuse to let guests down.food not as good, cleaning of room not very good, no snack bar lunch time just a roll, no diet or Coke Zero and no decent tea.
