“Great location”

The hotel looks a little rundown from the outside but the rooms are a good size and clean and the staff are very friendly, it is a great location two minutes from the bus stop to get u into old town and a 10 second walk to the bars and restaurants in la pad, we would revisit again.

I arrived yesterday morning, exhausted after traveling literally all night. A room wasn't yet available, I went for a walk, stunning location close to a beautiful bay. The building has great character and charm, built in 1825 it's impressive, obviously somewhat in need of some investment and urgent attention,it could be stunning. My room was large, spacious and airy with a king size double bed plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, shower and toilet facilities good, plenty of towels and soap and shower gels, clean and very comfortable. A 32 inch flat screen Viera Panasonic TV,let down by poor reception and even poorer selection of stations available, only one in English. Wi-fi is FREE and impressive, not used to being connected in my room, usually one has to hangout in reception, not so here. Breakfast was an experience, I was satisfied with what was on offer on the buffet, the coffee was very good. Fried, boiled, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh bread and rolls, salami, ham, cheeses, butter, spreads, yoghurt, margarine, fresh tomatoes, lettuce, apples, oranges. Juices available from Machine. The building has character, sadly the garden and terrace are delapidated and in need of restoration and transformation, could be spectacular again. I booked through Travel Republic and got a fabulous deal for seven nights bed and breakfast. There is no evening restaurant or bar,only a breakfast buffet. The staff all appear to be suffering from exhaustion and stress related illnesses, smiles are noticeable by their absence, probably due to overwork and underpay, they mostly speak good English and have been polite, respectful and accommodating. I like run down and affordable character places, so long as clean and comfortable, this place suits me very well indeed, I like it :)

Located at the main promenade at a 20min bus ride from old town of dubrovnik. The breakfast is ok but there is no sweets neither espresso. The bed is comfortable and the shower hot but room is small, decoration old and views inexistent. Also curious that the bathroom has a window that cannot be closed to avoid completely that you are observed from the outside when you are taking a shower!
