First time visiting here the hotel is beautiful the staff are very friendly and pleasant nothing is too much trouble. This is rated a 5 star platinum hotel but we found our room was not at this rating with some cracked floor tiles and the walls in places needed plastering and painting but it was a good sized room with a beautiful sea view. The bed was a super king bed and was very comfortable the only thing that was a bit disappointing not many coat hangers in wardrobe and wardrobe was only small luckily we was only there a week so hadn’t packed much. The pool is small and we didn’t use this as your right by the sea so lots of people just go in the sea the sunbeds are very comfortable and the view’s looking out to sea are stunning. We didn’t eat at the pool restaurant as it was very expensive for food and drinks so we found a small restaurant on the main road called Marangun for drinks during the day which is five minutes walk from hotel. Our favourite part of the day was breakfast this was phenomenal it had everything except normal sausage the choices was unbelievable and food was delicious could not fault it at all there’s free champagne and also lattes etc are all included. There’s something for everyone at breakfast best buffet breakfast I’ve ever seen. I definitely recommend walking into the old town this takes between 15-20 minutes the bus is number 4 and is €2 euro but we walked it’s a bit hilly walking back but not too bad. The city walls we walked and the views are stunning this is €35 euros each and there’s places to eat and drink While walking round takes about two hours but highly recommended. There’s also a cable car ride to the top of the mountain which is €27 euros each and a restaurant at the top we didn’t do this purely as I don’t like cable cars. In the old town there is about 300 restaurants and they all vary in price so you have to shop around but we found a beautiful restaurant called Rudjer by a church but there’s two parts of it the part opposite the church and then opposite on the right hand side is an opening into the garden terrace which is stunning and we ate there twice I highly recommended visiting here the staff are lovely and food is reasonably priced. Lots of nice shops but again these vary in price and the games of throne shops the merchandise is quite expensive. We also found the icecream shops in the town really expensive so just before you go through the gate on your right is an icecream shop that’s €5 euros for three scoops of icecream and they are huge with loads of different flavours so that’s the best place if you love icecream. We also one night walked to Lapad which took about 30 minutes to walk and has lots of bars and restaurants and there’s a coastal path you can walk round too if you like walking and fancy a change this is worth a visit. On a whole our holiday was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I hope my review helps other people when staying here.

“The best show cooking ever!”

Ritik the chef of the tepaniaki show was absolutely fantastic!!!!!! The food he is cooking is really out of this world. He is really really funny, he communicated with each and every one in his own way and everyone had a great time.he made our last night in Croatia just perfect! Great experience!!!!

“Umi Teppanyaki rocks!”

Umi Teppanyaki is the best restaurant at Rixos. Chef Ritik prepared the menu of perfect flavours and variation. Good ambiance and the restaurant with Chef Ritik offered a proper teppanyaki experience. Everything was smooth and the wine was super!
