“Wonderful hotel.”
This is one of the most comfortable and beautiful hotels I have stayed in. The location is perfect in the old city. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable and spotless. The rooftop restaurant is exquisite.

Hotel Stari Grad is a hidden gem in Dubrovnik. The modern decor blends so tastefully with the age of the building. Located down a stone paved alley just minutes from Pile Gate in the heart of Old town, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff went out of their way for us. The breakfast on the rooftop was exceptional. You can sip on a latte as the morning unfolds and watch Dubrovnik come alive. From high up, the orange tiled rooftops and views of the wall are amazing. I can’t say enough about this hotel. It is exceptional in every way.

Beautiful boutique hotel inside the city walls. We were on the first floor and didn’t experience any problems with noise but we took advantage of being within the walls and were out strolling around until very late, most shops were open until 10 and there are plenty bars and restaurants. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. While the breakfast on the roof top might seem expensive it is definitely worth it if you don’t think you will be able for the walls and want a panoramic view of the city within the walls ( you will still need to climb the hotel stairs) . I knew beforehand that the room was on the small side as the size was with the booking information but the room was very comfortable, big shower and lots of storage.

We stayed here for 3 nights and chose this hotel for its location inside the city walls. The team here were lovely and were very helpful and kind. The young lady at breakfast was superb-she was meticulous about details and made us very welcome and ensured we had everything we wanted at breakfast time - a real ambassador to the quality of this hotel. Location is great on one of the delightful little alleyways in the city. Their rooftop terrace is amazing for the views. We had a room on the first floor, quite small but what is expected of a small city hotel. It was very clean and comfortable but did get some of the lobby noise in the morning/eve, however did not spoil our stay. Ask for a room on a higher floor. Complimentary water would have been a nice added touch. Nice l’occitane shower/shampoos etc in the bathroom. We had a Thai massage treatment which was a welcome treat after the walk round the walls. Thank you for a lovely welcoming stay.
