“Beautiful hotel - we didn't want to leave!”

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It was AMAZING. My husband and I had a bungalow (#5) that was literally IN the rainforest and our teens had their own room in a separate building (room 12). Their room was also very nice, but I would recommend getting a bungalow if you can. The whole hotel is beautiful and there is so much wildlife. We saw more wildlife here than we saw the whole rest of our trip. Monkeys, and macaws, and all sorts of other animals. The pool area is very nice with great chairs to sit in (including some with covers). The breakfast was great and all of the staff were super nice and helpful, especially Hil. Lots of stairs at this hotel, so not good if stairs are a problem. The only drawback (and not sure it really is one) is that the restaurant (Yolo) is an American-style bar. The food was actually very good, but not exactly the type of food we wanted to eat in Costa Rica. :) They did have a lot of board games and other games to play so good for families (huge Jenga, pool, card games, dominoes, etc.). They also have a small casino there every night with blackjack and a few other games that are very fun. Also, not related to this hotel, but there is a really good falafel restaurant within walking distance. Totally random but very good!

We had a lovely time here. We would get up on the morning and sit in our rocking chairs in the morning and watch Toucans and Macaws in the trees above. We also saw Agoutis, Iguanas and Monkeys around the hotel complex. In the middle of town. Room was cleaned every day and also the breakfast was lovely as well as the friendly staff. Bed was comfortable in a good sized room. Tiny thing didn't like was an open shower but nothing is perfect

I came at this hotel on a rainy day, and I was received with my 2 kids by a very warm receptionist, and all the staff is like that, everyone is really sympathetic and warm. About the room, it is a fairy tale, we were in a private bungalow, with the A/C, and it was very modern and everything is in good shape. We had a balcony with a tree facing it, which we spent the entire days watching because a parrot family lived in it. You have a lot a lot of activities around the hotel, like Manuel Antonio national park where you can see loads of species, and down Uvita national park where you can see whales in breeding time. About the food, for the breakfast, there is a space just on the side of the swimming pool that is very chill in the morning, and for the other times, you have the Yolo’s restaurant that is with the hotel, and you have crazily good things to eat (burrito, Nachos, regular plates, whatever you want, and they even cook the fishes you bring them) I must say that this hotel is a place to be, so don’t hesitate to come over there.
